It's pretty clear why they would do it. They've got a bit of a bandwagon feel about them, and even clubs with incredibly passionate and loyal fans would struggle to get people turning up early on a Sunday morning if they lost the grand final I would have thought.

This is why GWS will be such a disaster. They will win 5 flags in a row then in year 6 when they only make a prelim or something all their support will evaporate ala Brisbane.
Haha
What rubbish. Doesn't deserve a detailed response when you just post your dreams without any justification.

Look no one celebrates losers the club did the right thing by cancelling it. It would be the last thing the players want to do

that's bullshit.

Even after 2001 there was a thousand fans at Windy Hill...the losing team events can be a bit morbid, but, you still have to thank your fans no matter what. Dead set disrespectful otherwise.

After the Swans first ballot there was "limited" single seats and standing still available. The had a second chance and opened it members who didn't apply for first ballot. I heard there was about 1000 standing only tickets still left after that

These 1000 went to a second shot for the Bulldogs but only to members who missed out on the first ballot. They sold out in minutes.
You heard wrong.

200.

Not 1000.
