First time I've seen Sheather play and I am impressed. He is like a guided missile and just keeps going. However, he is still a way off selection as he is very raw and his disposal needs a lot of tidying up. I look forward to watching his progress and if he makes it then we will have a lot of fun wincing at some of the replays.Stephens is quality. Not sure it's a matter of if he will be good, but just how good he will be. I imagine that's up to him and his willingness to learn and develop. (But he also might need a decent chance at senior level!)
Sheather honestly reminds me so much of Warner, and Amartey continues to frustrate by being SO good at times, but so NOT good at other times. I feel like especially with McLean emerging in the seniors, if he wants an opportunity in the 22, he's gotta even out that disparity.
Great start in the comeback for Naismith!
He was good but his delivery is still 50/50Clarke is putting a good foot forward, has been very good.
He's not up to senior standard like Bell
I’m hoping he develops like The Chad.First time I've seen Sheather play and I am impressed. He is like a guided missile and just keeps going. They were playing him at HBF.Feel for Clarke.
If he was still at Norf, he (along with Simpkin) would be their best young mids.
I have to admit, I was impressed with Sheather too - but not sure if it’s partly because he’s so noticeable with the snowy blonde mop.I watched the game this afternoon and it was interesting seeing the game with the benefit of knowing the stats and after reading the comments above.
I'm a bit out of step with everyone else as I didn't think Stephens was as influential as I was expecting.
Good game, but I must say others impressed me more.
I thought COR was our best 4Q performer.
Intercepted, used the ball well, set up play.
A very good all round performance.
Really pleased with Sheather's game.
Played further up the ground and had a real impact, physically and game wise.
I've always thought complaints about Clarke's disposal were overstated, but disappointed with his ball use in this game. I did like his body use around the contest, always willing to block/shepherd, something that can go missing from senior players at this level as they ball chase. Mind you 40 touches indicates he was fairly good in that area as well.
I like the way Taylor can create time and space and more often than not identifies the best option.
Amartey easily the best game I've seen him play.
Marked well and importantly stayed in the game across the 4qtrs. His 2nd Qtr was particularly good.
Ling remains curious. Just seems to play within himself. I think he's capable of more.
Gould I noticed limped off about 10 mins to go in the last qtr and didn't notice him coming back on. Better game from him, without really stamping his mark on the match.
McDonald decent game. Makes good decisions and executes well.
And welcome back Cray.
First centre bounce and drops the ball down Gray's throat.
Bugger. I meant to mention Naismith's bounce.I have to admit, I was impressed with Sheather too - but not sure if it’s partly because he’s so noticeable with the snowy blonde mop.
Highlight of the game: Naismith trying ( and failing) to have a running bounce. Pure comedy gold.
We just used pick 4 on him. Will get a 2nd rounder

Stephens will have other clubs interested in him no doubt, I hope we can re-sign him!
Why did a North trade Clarke out?
Lord knows they could do with him now...
Bizarre really.
Clarke's still 21/22? He's got plenty of time to fix disposal, and playing a higher quality comp in the VFL will go a long way
Watching the game on the weekend I would say his disposal by hand was great and like all swans players his disposal by foot can improve. He had a 1 or 2 turnovers by foot, taking the game on but also set up 1 or 2 goals with great kicks.First time I've seen Sheather play and I am impressed.
