see, thats the sort of thing you can't say at at the scg...
The slagging of Rose is just bloody tiresome. He had a good patch in 2016 and played 2 poor games since then. Hayward has played more than 3 poor games now. By the same logic, he should be delisted.
reid started to share a bit

buddy wouldnt be doing that or papley
i was thinking something similar earlier... reid does not have the arrogance to be a number 1 forward consistently.
Tough one, isn't it? Easy to criticise them when they're playing poorly and being selfish, but also easy to criticise them when they're playing well and not passing it off. Oh well.

We'd probably be calling him a champion if he passed it to Hayward and then saw Hayward kick it, find form and kick a couple.

So was ours...plus two down on the bench.

Many predicting we would get smashed so a 7 point loss is a pretty good result.

You not impressed with the performance?

i was but like i said earlier, why does it take so long into the season for us to perform like this consistently. it has happened two out of the last three years. whose responsible for that?

How do you know Naismith isn’t the answer? The guy hasn’t played for 18 months so that can only be judged upon his return.
Fair call. But he'd have to come back a very different player from before to be a substantial difference. He's a better tap ruckman than Sinclair but Sinclair is much better around the ground. I don't think either would give us a dominant ruck option.

Yawn. We get it mate. Rose ****** your missus in high-school.

Hardly, but some players are NEAFL standard. Don't want us dropping Hayward who will help us in the future. Let him work through his form.

Might help if we kicked the thing forward quickly..

i agree with giving rose another chance. my comment was directed at the passive nature of the swans supporters at the ground.

How is he destroying Hayward ? He is a forward he is playing forward. His problem is he is ******* starving. Could not get a kick in a stampede.
How many times was it kicked to Hayward?
Fowards present themselves as a target. They are not to go hunting and get in the way of other forwards.

I love Hayward as a player and respect a person who loves to have a quiet month at work

he seems to not give a toss every now and then mid season and I respect that. U are correct though as youth certainly adds to that

He's a young, developing player. He'd probably play better with Menzel in the side too.

We are too harsh on players not having blinders. We are a developing team presently. The ultimate goal is consistent four quarters from 22 contributors but we are seeing some strong performances following some off with their head feelings.

We've had it good for so long expectation becomes great. We seem to be tracking ok without looking great. 2 close wins out of 3 is good for a young side.

Clarke has been given a defined role and is responding well. Credit to his turn around and tip of the hat to the coaches there.
I can empathise with this POV, but if a young player is consistently playing poorly (Hayward now, Ronke earlier in the year), it does them no good to be keeping them in the side while they're in shocking form. Out of form youngsters are easily replaceable and replacing them has the dual benefit of giving them the chance to find confidence and giving someone else a crack.

Fair question...fitness staff?
Maybe with so many list changes it takes time to gel or perhaps changing game style?

I have no clue just putting out theories
