I think Adam Goodes should be included on this list.
He has undoubted ability - but, in light of this talent, his overall contribution to the team has been extremely disappointing - viewed against his potential.

i dunno if any one mentioned him - but Stephen Doyle - definately team champion. Only player on the 2006 GF roster who dodnt deserve a game.

I have a soft spot for him as I shook his hand at a club day whilst he was signing Autographs next to Bazza. Had a yarn with him for a good 5 minutes, good bloke but I think there is enough Ruckman on this list already lol

I support my club how it should be supported, you dont candy coat a players skill and abilities.
After all this thread isnt based on not rubbishing players, its a thread called Swans Worst...

I'm not candy coating anything, merely pointing out that Playfair wasn't as bad as some people like to make out. He wasn't a great player, not even a good player but he certainly wasn't bad enough to go on a 'worst of the past 20 years' team.

I put up the stats to prove my argument and the best you could do was the "he played in a better team" line.

And further more Brereton is classified as a legend in respects of the game.
Playfair shouldnt of even pulled on Football boots, just because your getting possessions doesn't make you squat.

There's a world of difference between Brereton the Hawthorn legend and the Brereton who came to Sydney for a surfing holiday and a nice pay packet.

I was 19 and Brereton wasn't too bad, unlike Playfair, played a couple of good games for us.
