What is going on with Liam Picken?

Normally when I see him approach a 1-1 contest, I am confident that the ball with end up in our possession. On multiple occasions (particularly in the 3rd, when we were half a chance) on Thurs night, he was comprehensively beaten and would also miss tackles. Love this guy - not sure what is up?

Many of us have made the observation that since the concussion, he's never been the same in his output or intensity. Even up to that point this year he was in there and involved in scoring opportunities.

Whatever the issue is needs to find form in the VFL.
Far as I am concerned should not be an automatic selection.
He would be the kind of bloke who would take it on the chin and work his arse off to get back.
