He had a sore thumb mate.

since his debut?

he is a very good player for the record, but his ability to go from ablett/dusty level one week to c grade, or injured is unrivalled

Are you that old

I'm on the verge of becoming a boomer, more than halfway through 20s.

Back on topic, I still think our setup in the rd1-3 was the best forward setup this season. Like many have said, the medium forward on the HF line is one of the hardest roles to play. I don't think we need both Hayward and Heeney essentially playing the same role. Hayward has been kicking them out of half chances this season on a more consistent basis than Heeney

Form, next best available player. He comes in, you shuffle others around.

Did Clarke play last night ? What type of form are you in if you don't get your arse off the bench ? That backline was a calamity last night and at the risk of it happening and somebody getting subbed out I dare say him down there would get us nominated for best comedy in a sporting event.

Dogs performance today should demonstrate to people that good sides are allowed to have off days.

Horse has said Mills had achilles the entire season, theyre both meant to be matchwinners for us. Regardless of Mills in mids or HB, we know he will be elite.

Heeney is elite once a month

Agreed. The post was in sarcasm. The amount of Time's Heeney's inconsistency gets defended on here by saying he is injured is mind numbing. He is a good player nothing more. As far Mills goes he is the best footballer in the side bar none.

What? I said COR as sub, not Clarke? COR was in good form recently in reserves and actually plays decently when in seniors, better than Clarke. He's our next best IMO, so should be sub. I hardly said bring in a ruck as sub.

If Campbell for instance has gotten more minutes and done ok in scratch matches or whatever, sure he's probably a better sub, just no recent news to go by.

This could be the week a few get a freshen up, depending on training load cycle.

Suspect they want to run Reid into some sort of form but I would not mind LMac or Amartey getting another crack.

Ollie may need a break, along with Rowbottom and Stephens.

Yep. We aren't making the top 4 now, but we are in the finals so use this time wisely to freshen up.

Papley did a good job in his time at CBAs. Parker was immense. With Mills probably rested I hope Warner gets time in there. He needs to mix up the run and long kick with honoring leads. Depending on the wing/defence structure JMac should also get more time there.

If we need a different big body in there who can find and use the ball I would run Dawson in the mids. As it was last night he had a roving commission and think he would adjust.
