Won't happen. In all his years in the red and white Sam Reid has never, ever been dropped.
In all his years he's also never been one of our top 10 players according to the coaching staff (or me).

Sadly like his brother with careers soured buy injuries both could have been anything , an absolute lovely family . But after last night when the accuracy goes , it's over

first ordinary game in a month, in a team that was ordinary for the first time in six weeks
fck, lotta posters on here are only ever really happy after a loss, so they can stick the boots in ...
That's a dumb call , people react different to a loss . I said at the Rising Sun in 2005 i will never get angry again and guess what i spat the dummy round 1 in 06 . When we lost in 06 , i was so thankful we at least had won a flag. I'm now over last night and we move on and at our best this flag is still a chance at our best from whatever spot . The brave Bulldogs did it with help , maybe 1 day we might get that help and everyone can get ro##ed

We are playing the wooden spooners in a game that has no real bearing on ladder positions.

Key objectives:

1. Get game time into players we want as viable options for the finals (Warner, Campbell, McD)

2. no injuries

Yep. The loss on Saturday changes this game's relevance as we can't make the top 4 and we aren't even playing for a home final. We need to get games into a few of the guys that may be important in the finals if we get an injury or two and we also should rest players who are playing with niggling injuries.

since his debut?

he is a very good player for the record, but his ability to go from ablett/dusty level one week to c grade, or injured is unrivalled

You missed my point. That is what I was saying. There is always an excuse for his inconsistency. Lets face it he won't reach those levels. Brad Johnson wrote an article on him last year saying he believes he has the ability to be the best player in the comp. Yes but No.

Did anybody else notice that Cunningham played shite? Not just that why does he always get the ball and look to kick backwards before anything else? His performance is being overlooked, he was pretty poor too, I know alot of players were but he stood out to me, needs more of an attacking mindset, slows the whole team down when he gets the ball or takes a mark

He refuses to go on his left , that's why he does that.

Refuses to go straight too most of the time

Can't speak for Saturday night as I listened rather than watched (beers by the fire in the backyard was a better proposition than fighting for the TV with the Olympics obsessed) but I've felt Cunningham has done a pretty good job running out of the backline this year generally.

I can’t see him getting dropped but agree Florent needs to do something when the game isn’t on our terms for once

Kicking was a joke last night
Look, fair enough he needs to work on kicking, but based on that, who do we keep in?

I remember some shocking kicks from last night, and the only good kick and I only remember 1-2 good kicks inside 50.

When even Guldens kicks inside 50 are lack luster you know the team is going bad.

Yeah Cunningham has been good this year, as well as being a pretty reliable player for quite a long time. Led the team in intercepts vs Saints, was very clean with it, though as mentioned he may have been conservative. Makes sense if he couldn't find options because our effort was down. Believe players he was meant to be on snagged a few, you could see in a replay or two he got drawn away, which isn't great. So maybe a relatively poor game from his usual high standard.

Yeah, I'm getting sick of players being singled out in this game when it was a poor team performance. With the exception of Papley you can take any player you don't like and bash them over the head with this performance.
The usual suspects have gone after Buddy, Florent, Stephens, Heeney, Rowbottom, Wicks, Hayward, Reid, and now Cunningham.

Now here's the thing, I agree with the fact that they had bad games, but it was a team effort that was terrible, and pointing out one player in that flop of game is disingenuous.

No point in targeting any specific players, across the board we were down. Wicks and Cuningham have been good for the last month, the team just looked too relaxed against the Saints.

We stood up in the 3rd quarter but the Saints matched us. Just need to ensure we come out quick from the beginning if we're to win against the Roos

Each to their own I guess, i could be judging him just off one game, but yeah just didn't see any attacking in him

We really can’t change our position from here so I think we should bring in Warner , campbell, Logan , amartey and maybe taylor.

Ins campbell, Logan , amartey , taylor, bell

Out Kennedy , buddy, hickey, heeney, rampe
We get a rest before the finals anyway. I think it's more important we have strong form than to blood the juniors. We'll gain more from putting a team to the sword in the finals than from any of them getting an extra match or two.
