He did some relief ruck but his forward work was more impressive. Not completely convinced he will be a ruckman at AFL level but it’s early.

The best things were a completely different (and functioning) forward line with Reid back and Sinclair plucking them, plus the really hot form of the young guys like Mills, Heeney, Hayward, Florent. Having Buddy plus Reid also gave us a lot better path to goal.

Great to see Hayward and Florent taking the opposition on. Florent's pace is important for us, especially without Zak.

A good fighting win even though both sides slaughtered the ball a lot.

A lot of what he did was conditional on Kennedy too. Kicked a goal at an important time is always really aggressive at the ball and his kick to hit up Hayward was great but I agree he was pretty anonymous for some big sections.
