We tried to get Hill over the line last year, so apparently we wouldn’t have minded adding a small forward.

Having said that, Zurhaar is more a mid size than a small in his role, AND we have the Davey twins likely incoming.

Davey twin - one is terrible and did their ACL at the start of the year - maybe a sympathy rookie spot.

If Zurhaar leaves *ess would be the last place he ends up - he has made it clear he is against drugs.

What sort of f***stick hides for the majority of a year because they cannot hack the heat of their sides ineptitude compared to a side that is practical free fall off field only to then rock up and gloat on the back of winning a game where their team skidded around the outside of a team who made 7 changes on the back of COVID while under the guidance of a caretaker coach.

The answer to this question is a gutless one.

Watching the game last weekend I couldn't help but feel that nothing has really changed with them for more than a decade. They beat us because they wanna play quick outside footy. Footy that does not win finals and looks just like the footy the Knights had them playing.

Mike Tyson had this saying that everyone has a plan till they get punched in the face, well, your plan may work in the Home and Away, but when the pressure goes up and the game becomes who wants it more, their skiddish runners will melt. Every time. It is why the ain't won a final in forever.

These campaigners are stuck in a vortex where they believe they’re close to something special but in reality their list is absolutely shot.
Similar to the midtable mediocrity we were stuck in from 2003-2019. Atleast we acknowledge we’re in a rebuild.

Beating up on a Covid riddled wooden spooner and looking like world beaters one week, it’s extremely satisfying when they come up against opposition with some big bodies the next week that they turn to absolute water.
Merrett is the biggest sheep dog of them all.
