2007 ODI WC??Closest I can think of is Zim beating us in the 2007 World Cup when they were suspended from Test cricket.
It's a World Cup. You play matches for your country against other countries. This kind of match doesn't help anybody.
Tell me how I'm wrong.
EDIT: In saying that, imagine being able to say you hit the Aussie captain for six.

Bloody hell if the only time we can think of is when a full member was suspended 17 years ago that's a solid record, given most of our associate matches would have taken place since then (t20 era)Closest I can think of is Zim beating us in the 2007 World Cup when they were suspended from Test cricket.
Aside from the Infamous Zimbabwe game. ODIs where Australia were "in trouble" against associates that I can remember. If you're talking T20I's. 2 of Australia's 3 T20I's against associate nations have been in this tournament (including this one).

- Mid-order collapse in the 2003 WC vs Kenya.
- Canada started strongly in the 2011 WC but were never really in the game
- Tour of Kenya when Kenya were good. (They had a weird pseudo-full member status at the time though)

it's similar with Sikandar Raza now. He's one of the best white ball players, but almost never seen due to the combined incompetence of the ICC and Zimbabwe in general.Andy Flower still is the best keeper bat in my view shame we didn’t see enough of him to really rate.
I really enjoyed this video recapping the Flower incidentAndy Flower still is the best keeper bat in my view shame we didn’t see enough of him to really rate.
TravBall*HeadBall is awesome
If that's true that's an incredible stat. When was the last time Aus were even slightly in trouble against an associate?
What if the entire Australia squad suffer from a congenital heart defect in the next few moments?I love that Cricinfo’s win probability still gives the Namibians a 0.25% winning chance. How quaint.
