Pick 18 is fair for Geelong. Think the price would have been too steep for the other ones in the contention for his services as they are further down the ladder.

I'd call 18 a win for Geelong.
They don't need to risk drafting a bust (which Bruhn is not), and Bruhn has 2 years of development in him, so he's pretty much AFL ready and ready to go, yet is still young enough to give 200 games service to the Cats.
Choice of 18 or Tanner Bruhn if you're a list manager, and I reckon 9/10 are taking Tanner Bruhn.

Does Freo want picks this year? We need the future 2nd but seems like no one has list space this year and everyone wants next years picks.

Freo are probably one of the only sides who do want picks this year, as they literally only have Pick 13, and then Pick 76
Because Bruhn is a B-grader at best. Now Collingwood will get your future first for Henry.

At this rate GWS will have more first round picks in this draft than 2011.
Exactly. Would have made it interesting if you guys enquired about Menegola...as we could have packaged him up with say 38 and 48, for compo Future 2nd. Gives you a gun player in a younger side who's plug and play, and a couple of picks in the draft + Jackson and Corbett and then Sharp for your own Future 2nd (depending on a ruling from the AFL if you could trade both Futures)
