are any Kangaroos players gonna be playing in the practice match on Sunday?

Isn't Sunday the day to drink and be merry rather than watch a practise match?? Personally the care factor is NIL. I'd much rather get drunk in a pub and roll down the TCA hill than watch a practice match in February!

Bring on the real f***** season for god's sake!!!

 Reminds me of certain nights in September 1990, September 1992, August 1997, September 1999 and September 2003.
The last one I was so off the dial I took a wrong turn and went up some side street and saw a long grass paddock at the end of this no through road - decided to walk down this steep paddock and fell and rolled all the way to the bottom and ended up near the highway :D

Thank christ that wasn't caught on camera!
Was picking grass and weeds out of my jeans and coat pockets all the next day :D

Does anyone know what the latest on Jarrod Kleeman is?
who has signed him? and how did they fit him under the salary cap??

I see on the news the Devils had their Northern Devils vs Southern Devils practice match at North Hobart today with about 15 people watching.
Adam Derbyshire looks like he'll do well for them, seriously Bartlett looked like he had 3 pillows stuck up his jumper.
North Hobart looked in jack-tatty condition, weeds coming out of the concrete terracing, advertising hoardings all dented up and ugly, scoreboard still out of order.
Bit of a shame.

Word has it that Mr Beams has signed with Barge's beloved Claremont Football Club. Another fine addition to the current squad of pygmies there.

Hilarious that wade wont let beams play for even a lower level in tassie. What a tossa! be great to see someone like beams run around in the premier or regional league. Might even get a few more poeple interested. Goes to show he needs to get his head out of his ar*e!

Why is it that the HARD working gents at AFL Tas have lots of time to look through BigFooty posts and complain when it is a bit scandalous and get them removed from this forum which is evident from the stuff that was written yesterday/ this morning and mysteriously gone this afternoon, BUT they havent got time to update their own website Southernfootball.com - great stuff fellas - NOT!

They might be waiting for the big news story, possibly??

I'm only guessing Cadoras...I might be right and I might be wrong on this one. :(

So what if it was a couple of porky pies, this is an infringement of freedom of speech, whats the point of having this forum if you cant type in what you like and being censored? Kingpin likes talking about Hobart, thats his right, others like to bag out the devils, thats their right. RememberMe doesnt like people taking the P!ss out of Friends, thats his right. All part of the parcel.

Let's continue to do it in the spirit of Big Footy ;)

Trouble is that AFL Tas are a law unto themselves and should be made to be accountable to the People of Tasmania before they can get any credibility. Remembering that People of Tasmania means not just the Devils and AFL Tas. Management needs to get a huge shake up, do they have elections? Cronyism is not democracy.

well....well....what would you know!!!!, bit of a coincidence that I mentioned AFL Tas being too lazy to update their own website and having to pay others to do it a couple days ago, all of a sudden this site has been updated! Interesting to see a few player movements - Hogan back to swansea ($$$?) the cassidy gang to hobart.

Former DOSA goalsneak Simon Spurr to Huonville!!!! If that is the person i remember, I think he kicked a bag on local cricketing legend John Snooks a long time ago lol.

Shows that they do read this forum!!!

Haha.

Yep, spot on, Hogan to Swansea for $$$.

Surely could not be THE Simon Spurr....former Glenorchy underage stalwart from the early 90's?...he would have to be at least a couple of years older than me.

Couple of Richmond boys going to Brighton is interesting too.

He was a couple of years above me at Springfield Gardens Primary back in the early 80's when I was being touted as a top 10 draft pick, so going on that he'd be 33.

Must have been recruited so McGregor and Longman don't feel so out of place among all the youngsters!

Why did Heath Barwin leave Glenorchy to play in the old scholars. Just chasing the dollar or another issue. They will miss him this year.

Well, I clearly wouldn't offer to do the same for you, it would take me all day long.

If Barge's source was a list of results from Brighton's pre-season training sessions, why would HE be blamed if they were wrong?

The lists weren't wrong, Barge just can't read.

Is apparently on a small fortune to do so too, so my relaible sources have informed me.

Good evening monna, how are you today?!

Waiting for me to make a comment about your "reliable sources" again? I've got no comment on this subject, i only post about things that i KNOW.

Pinner played at Richmond a few seasons back while i was at Friends, had a couple of good battles with him. He has always had potential, which he has finally started to fulfill in the last couple of years, which makes it strange that he would want to take a couple of steps back to the old Scholars. Top bloke too..:thumbsu:
