Do you happen to know if the game was at Snug Park or up at Kensington Park (New Norfolk)?

I think you'll find the game in question was held at that outdated, wood heater-house surrounded, in-bred populated, Snug Oval!

Pretty confident the Saints shelled out some mega coin that year!

Bit before Jelly and Cadoras' time that one!

How frightening is it to see how many times Triabunna have mammoth scores on that list!

As for the Devils 10 year Membership - if you bought a ticket you'd be hoping like hell you didn't win it!

I am sorry we don't have an ultra-modern, luxurious establishment like the Mont boys... Yes, it was well before my time, I would have been running around for Kingston underage then, and hated Channel with a passion... I think Craig Cross may have booted 20 that game, as there is a framed score card in the club rooms. I think they kicked 20 or something in the last quarter...

With a bit of luck, the Bunna will have another sizeable score kicked against them this week...

Heard rumour that sean salter signed back up for new norfolk sat night. Also was told barwick rang up 10o'clock sat mornin and said he couldnt play(because he didnt want to play against NN) Has said to be goin back to the eagles next year, but has to see the year out with the robins cause he will receive more money at end of season. Anyone else heard anything

Brent Disckson Winning Goal Round 12

Here is Brent Dickson's winning goal on the net filmed by Duff TV.

Just cut and paste this link www.dufftv.com.au

There is also the SFL Grand Final on my site as well. http://dufftv.com.au/?p=6

More to come soon including a weekly SFL football show as of early August.

Sorry about the typo Brent.

Duff.

I heard from a very reliable source during the week that the Kermandie V Claremont game had some very amusing incidents occur most involving the claremont runner!
Some of the incidents i heard were: The claremont runner delivering more messages to the canteen than players themselves, Dimatinna like sledgling of oposition players, Drinking the bench dry of all its water supply leaving players unable to quench their thirst and after half time the players actually having to run to the bench to receive thier messages as the runner was quote "to rooted to move".

Was wondering if Barge could shed some light on these nasty rumours i have been hearing?

Never happens at Claremont, not at all, all sweet and innocent out at Pie Park....:p:eek:

Of course Barge can shed some light on this, The runner was going to the canteen to make sure that Barge aka (Queen Latifa) was not fading away to a shadow, a bit concerned are the Mont hierachy about his little frame:D:D
No ive got it......it was Barge doing the runners job, it makes sense, running to the canteen, drinking all there water and not being able to get that big burley frame of his off the bench to give messages.:thumbsu:

Dont be sorry Jelly, at least you guys dont have to have inch thick reinforced steel bars over all of you windows and not only have the booze bus outside the front gate but the drug squad and sniffer dogs as well like the Mont boys have to go through out there:D

By the way lads, as President of the Zippy Fan Club, imagine my suprprise when, last night, I drove past what HAS to be the car belonging to the man himself, on the eastern shore side of the Tasman Bridge broken down!:D

The only reason I say that it must have been his car is that the personalised number plate was none other than "ZIPPY"!!!

I did contemplate making the long trip back just to take a photo to show you. Made my night ;)

The Claremont runner from Saturday has told me that there was indeed copious amounts of water consumed to quench his considerable thirst from his duties.

Don't think there were any Dimattina like moments due to the fact he was too stuffed to sledge, so he told me anyway.

Tree Hugger - never been any drug consumers pull on the ...... whatever colour guernsey it is you OHA muppets wear these days?

Went pretty well on Saturday too I see!

Jelly (17 days til your dream comes true incidentally) think you'll find one C.Cross once kicked 22 v Frankiln or Kermandie in a game once. Not in the game in question.

Where's Cadoras been lately?

Sobbing into his Boags - another reason I don't like Snug - after the Matty lloyd suspension?

Still here, there just hasn't been much to ponder on about lately.

It was against Franklin, I think he handballed the last ball of the day to someone else and missed out on another goal.
In that game against Lachlan, Brad Howarth kicked a bag (16?) and the rest of the goals were shared around evenly amongst the team i think,

Whats wrong with Boags!:thumbsu:, despite being a southerner it tastes a lot better than that dishwashing liquid you like to drink - Cascade:thumbsdown:.

I haven't been able to sleep for weeks in anticipation for the big day... I can't believe it is finally going to happen...

Thanks for correcting me on Steady's bag, I knew he had kicked one, but couldn't remember who it was against. Come to think of it, I can remember Gus Nandan (fantastic fella) telling me he played that day, may have even played on him for a bit (not something I would be telling people)...

Whats wrong with it? Apart from the fact it tastes like shit? I will be making every effort to get you expelled from the club for an opinion like that...

I'm with you Cadoras, give me Boags anyday. Was a sad day when OHA was forced by AFL Tas to cut ties with Boags and stock Ca(ts piss)scade.
It was an Old Scholars thing wasn't it? The comp is sponsored by Cascade, so all clubs had to stock it. I can remember when I played at Friends, we used to despise going to Geilston, cause they sold the shit, as well as the ordinary people playing at the club:D
