What makes Tex so stupid? He seems like a great bloke, and a great leader. Excellent choice.

In terms of Rory, he'll sign shortly ... here is a quote from Sloane about Tex to help the uninformed:

And as far as Danger is concerned, you are all just hoping. Either hoping that AFC lose him because you hate the Crows (ie majority of Port supporters), or hoping that you get him because you barrack for Geelong and are feeling like the slope down the ladder is looking steep and slippery over the coming years.

To non crows supporters it seems logical to be between Sloane and Danger. In reality it was more likely to be between Walker and Sloane. Walker signing early probably didn't hurt his chances.
