Teams Team Development (Final Two Weeks)

I'm inspired by the Nank's effort last night so I've gone:

Goldy > The Smithless Stef which has freed up cash to upgrade Shoenmakers > Roughead

Have gone to Preuss for R3 and pushed Cameron up (who will play at some point) FWD, I reckon Preuss will play 4-5 games to ease Goldy's workload for the first month.

Great side Doc .....but i'd be careful not to spoil your SC Season with home club bias

Will Atkins be a top 10 mid at years end ......clearly not

Menzel, doesn't get enough disposals .....both these players could be your undoing

Final Final team. Team name is Pincrusher but it should be called Midpriced Madness. Many breakout candidates and players returning after injury layoffs. Risk/ reward. I could be in the top 100 after 4 rounds and if it all goes wrong then I'll be planning for next year after 4 rounds. No guts, no glory.

I like it a lot. It is very similar structurally to my team but i've spent more money in my mids and rucks while your back and forward lines are slightly stronger. I also only have 3 rookies on field (2 backs, 1 fwd too). We have 19 players in common which is not too many considering our structural similarities. Good luck mate, lets both hope mid-priced madness is a winner this season!

Yeah I normally dont pick a lot of Adelaide players but it just fell that way this year. Hampton, Otten and Menzel wont be keepers but better than rookies at the same price.
Atkins can take it to another level and have a break out year I reckon. POD and gr8 price.

Upgrade to Fawn? Save the cash for rookie corrections? Get a midpricer? I dunno I'm stumped.

Here is my final team now the match's have started

1. 3 x POD's .....Ablett Oliver, Zac Jones

2. 3 x Mid-Pricers (as against fallen premiums ) ...Jones, Oliver, O'Meara

3. Emphasis on flexibility with Dual position (Adams )

4. Have changed Roughead to Steele 3 times today ......just cannot decide, like Steele's dual position, but that'll mean another mid-pricer in my side??

Tried to go Gun/Rookie as much as possible, hopefully these rookies are the right ones. Not sure on hannan, but don't know where else to go.

Not sure where to spend the $240k so will just run with this for the time being and see what 'must haves' appear between now and round 3

Was tempted to get him. Heart tells me yes but head tells me no. Doubt he will play more than 18 games (and that's being generous) and that's just not good enough for me. I've already got too many risky options with Fyfe and Beams who are too juicy to pass up at their price.

Will pay off big time if it works.
