To be fair to Jacobs it wasn't a ruck contest. Jacobs stiff not to be paid the mark as well, bounced behind to cordy after the 'spoil' who goaled.

He'd be our only participant from the weekend - and the reality is he wasn't that bad, watching from lvl 2 he actually manages to keep his full ground zone positions better than Minson.

Don't know about the age thing, but Carey was certainly torn apart by a very average player in the 98 Grand Final. Caven was no household name except for the time Lockett smashed his face, but he made Carey look like Ian Downsborough.

If Carey ... and others ... had've kicked straight the game was over at half time, except for Ben Hart.

That bloke was far'n'away the best player on the day, he kept the crowbots in the game in the 1st half and helped Caven out with his job on Carey, even though the bloke had some Pagan Paddock opportunities.

I think I know that game better than you do. Caven frustrated Carey all day. But agree on Hart, he was the shining light in the first half.
