Carlton and Collingwood both dodged a massive bullet. Was hoping like hell one of them would get sucked in and appoint him but unfortunately they seem to have made the mature decision.

Don't worry mate we were March premiers last year too. Then April Premiers. Then May Premiers. In the end they just had to call us Premiers.

Carlton are on the right track, looking very impressive. Vossy has them running hard both ways which is imperative in the modern game. Only issue will be whether they can maintain it for 6 months but if they don't run out of legs I think top 4 beckons.

I think the red flags about his conduct at Freo, which eventually led to his dismissal, and put the Blues off hiring him, is the main reason
