Well, some of us have chosen to pool our wealth & sponsor Ricky Bobby for the 2011 season, so I guess we should have a thread so we can follow his endeavours throughout season 2011 & celebrate (if only a quarter today) our wise choice we made.

If he continues to show the form he did today I dare say he will not only been essential part of any future success but also become a cult hero amongst MFC supporters.

Adopt a dee game review will be done by - Ghost of Grinter & but I suggest that if we all choose to comment on his performances he won’t be too upset.

This is for all things Rick Bobby & we should also have a bit of fun with it too like posting photos we might take of him, chance encounters, stalking................... too far.

Information about the sponsorship level we are looking at:
• Match worn and signed player Guernsey (please note: the match worn Guernseys will be from Round three, MFC v Brisbane. If your player does not play that match a signed non-match worn Guernsey will be provided)
• Player signed team poster
• Two Player Sponsor lapel pins
• Invitation for two to exclusive Player Sponsor After Match function at the MCG, Sunday 19 June Melbourne v Fremantle* TBC, and dependent upon Casey fixture
• Acknowledgement of your Player Sponsorship in the 2011 Season Almanac and Yearbook
• Acknowledgement of your Player Sponsorship on the Melbourne Football Club website
The distribution of these items (except the last 2 obviously) will be randomly drawn (using a method to be decided later, that will be based on the amount contributed). Each contributor will only be able to receive 1 prize.

Perhaps sticky this thread as it will contain sponsorship related stuff, game day stuff, reviews and general discussion.

Can't see him being the sub next week for a couple of reasons. He obviously played well when he went on and also I don't think it is in the interest of any 1 player to keep them in that role - it may have to be rotated to some extent.

At least he was less likely to cop an injury though.

I love watching him play, glad we chose him. Also, Ricky Bobby is a hilarious alias for him!

He will be playing from Q1 next week or I will go down to the bench and burn off Bailey's ridiculous porno chops.

lol it's not so bad Rude, at least we got a mention in RPs profile in the Heartbeat mag. Money to the club is the main thing but yeah BF pretty slack all the same.
