Given Arsenal wont sell Nasri to Man Utd and thus the speculated interest in Sneijder - This may be a bit left field but is there anything at all stopping something like this scenario happening:

Inter buy Nasri and agree to pay say 20 mill

Inter then on sell Nasri to Man Utd straight away form maybe an extra bit

Inter keep Sneijder - Man U get Nasri

Arsenal get 20 mill but get screwed coz Nasri goes to Man U

I understand that there may be clauses built into any contract if Nasri were to go abroad, but peeling it right back is there anything obvious stopping such third party use.

Not confirmed signing yet, but a deal has been agreed between Liverpool and Blackpool for Charlie Adam, he's having a medical now.

£9m is the price apparently.

I read that it's £7.5m rising to £8m.

Not sure how Blackpool will go in the nPower Championship next season without him, but I don't think he'll have a big impact at Liverpool either.

Going to spend a bit of time on the bench I'd imagine.

Gerrard won't be back at full fitness for 3 to 4 months, he had major surgery and they are taking it easy with him rather then flogging him in pre season. So Adam compliments Gerrard nicely.

reina will be first choice and doni will be back up. Reina is not leaving.

Plan is to sign Doni as Reina's backup, get rid of Brad Jones and send Peter Gulasci out on loan to get first term experience

Player transfers

I read that some players, like Adebayor, Bellamy & Aquilani, are surplus to requirements at their respective clubs, but a transfer may be difficult because of their contracted salaries.

If this is the case, could they not be sold with the original club picking up some of the salary with the new club the rest of the contracted amount?

We all know this happens in the AFL, can this happen in soccer?

depends on roma mostly. it might be 5 mil, it might be 2 mil. doni is a solid keeper, unlucky to have fallen so far down the chain at roma.
