Off the top of my head 5 of those frees at a minimum were advantage frees where the Bulldogs already had clearly possession of the ball so the actual free kick had no impact on the play. Also Jeremy Laidler's BS touched goal never gets a mention.

At one stage in the big one, the Bulldogs received 17 free kicks to Sydney’s 1. The informant also sent me a link to the below article.
