I agree 100% - however she, and the $wines bandwagon, have made out as though it is some widespread issue amongst HFC because she's upset that her team lost a grand final.

I guess what got to me is that it was nice seeing nothing but the press either praising the team or at least being contrite - then yesterday we get this slanderous rant front and centre on The Age. Just angered me a little. Agreed, abusing her on Twitter etc was utterly stupid and unnecessary. Personal attacks also. I just wish the press hadn't given it oxygen. I have been to about 40 Hawks games over the past 3 years and have never heard anything that would make me cringe, and as I've said I abhor discrimination, and can be prone to outrage myself. i just think it was an unfair broad accusation.

Going back to back is a good salve to all this though, it must be said!

Four Hawthorn supporters to my knowledge told him to shut up. A lady behind me, a Hawthorn supporter, was in tears. I threatened to report him if he didn't shut up but some one beat me to it. I booed Goodes. I'd do it again. I booed Buddy, I'd definately do that again . Anyone that I thought could take the flag away from us, I'd boo.
I didnt boo Jetta, he was shithouse , but I was overjoyed to see Hill take him on the wing and outrun him (just like Jetta did to Rioli in 2012).
I was there in 2012 and had to put up with the Swans fans shit 5 minutes towards the end. And you can bet I wasnt going to forget that day.

I would say the biggest blame goes to Fairfax for posting this negative sensationalist garbage when it did. The silly girl wrote the article after crying for hours because her team got smashed. She backed off remarkably in the cold light of day in the radio interview.

What should also be highlighted is the difference between true racism/sexism/homophobia and political correctness driven versions of them. She only acknowledges the latter as it allows her to indulge in the former.
