dont really see the point of him bowling at 130, would rather see him giving the leggies a rip
I don't mind it. Has bowled meds in the Shield and had some close chances for wickets and has done so in the Country Championship and taken wickets.

yeah thats fair. i've just always found his leggies pretty decent. i was impressed with the speed and bounce he got though. a little bit of movement in the air and he could get something.

Jaiswal with a hell of a knock here, in his first Test in Australia after making a duck in the first innings. What’s struck me about him so far in his career is his conversion rate. When he gets going he goes big, some huge scores already in his young career. He’s going to cause all sorts of problems for a number of teams.

It’s been a hard pitch to read, seems very different now to the opening day. Conditions much more favourable for batting now, if India keep losing some cheap wickets here in a flurry then you just never know. They’d not want to throw too many more away given the position they’re in.

Australia don't have the batting line-up to chase this down, and blocking to draw for two days is a huge ask.

This test is done, and a bit of soul searching for the Aussies. There needs to be some accountability for the ongoing poor performances of Smith and Labs. Neither should be safe regardless of lack of options.

I’m looking forward to Bumrah’s opening spell, am fascinated to see if it’s the same movement of the ball. Will give a good indication of how many tricks the pitch is playing, because India have made it look very easy here this innings. That’s why I think they’d want a lot more runs to be more comfortable, as there’s so much time left in the match still.

I knew very little of Reddy coming into this series. How’s the confidence in your debut Test, top scores with 41 in the first innings followed by this.

No fans seem to barrack against their own country like Australians do in cricket. Especially against India who aren't exactly models of good sportsmanship themselves.

It’s certainly strange, for some reason plenty of aussies like to shit on the cricket team, I know we’ve had some proper tossers in the team over the years, but I always want to see our cricket team get up, especially against India.

The match is gone but think tomorrow is still pretty important. Smith and one or two others find some runs and we make 300+ then there’s at least something to take from the game. Get rolled sub-150 again and it becomes a real mental blow especially knowing Rohit and Shami are coming back in for India.

The chickens have come home to roost here.

12 months ago we were saying Smith and (in particular) Marnus were in trouble. Nothing has been done about it and here we are.

The bowling was shit in that second innings but after rolling them for 150, they should've had a decent lead to bowl with.

That batting line up is horrendous and sadly, there's not much else coming through.

Labuchagne should go first if they’re too reluctant to do both at once. His LBWs look worse every time they replay it, technique wise he’s deteriorated rapidly. Had a shocker yesterday, between the embarrassing leg side wide bowling and then falling over at the wicket to cap off the day.

Don't think he's in trouble yet. Marnus/Smith a bigger concern.

Problem is, who do you replace them with?
He would have been ahead of both for me if he didn't do this.

Since the WTC final he's had one ton and averaged 27 before this innings.
