yes, a likely scenario.I tend to believe that the abductor was a married father, with kids similar ages to the Beaumont children. If Jane, Arna and Grant had met this family at the beach and around Glenelg on previous occasions (Nancy Beaumont recalled later that Arna had mentioned Jane meeting a boy at the beach) they may well have trusted him more, thinking that a father could not be a dangerous stranger. So if on the day the day they vanished they met this man on his own - and he advised them that his own kids weren't there as they had to go shopping for school supplies with their mother - they might have trusted him enough to spend time with him at the beach, Colley Reserve and around Glenelg. Witnesses reported seeing the three children with an unidentified man and that they were relaxed in his company. It seems unlikely that the kids, especially Jane, would have been lured away by a complete stranger who approached them at random that morning.
There are probably more sightings and witness statements withheld by police.
Sightings that may indicate a direction of travel, none of which have been release to us.
A few of Janes schoolmates have talked about being spoken too by police. Iam not sure if this was in the classroom.
So police were thinking the offender knew the victims in some way.
