What a difference it makes playing two natural full backs!

Also what a difference it makes having a Jay Spearing who knows which way his going.

Jeeez flanno has got some **** about him!

What a performance, amazing.

After the shit we dished up against WBA on the weekend, we come out and play like this?

Carroll has been great on and off the ball, same goes for Suarez, everyone has been great, but have been particularly impressed with Flanagan and Aurelio (maybe that's because we've actually got full backs playing there and they're just performing at a good level).

Holy shit

The way we were knocking it around was pretty bloody amazing. Utilising Carroll far better today, not hoofing it to him everytime (counted one hoof in the first 20 mins and that was by Carra). We're so much better playing it on the deck and so is Carroll.

Scores one with his feet, scores one with his heeeead

And loving Flanagan's work

And Lucas/Spearing, particularly Jay has been working their ass off in midfield and coming on top against the more fancied City midfield

Hard to fault anyone really. The 2 centre halves have been quietest but still done their job. One hoofagher clearance, but plenty of solid direction from the skipper. Skrtel accross to help Aurelio control Johnson's influence. Full backs have been excellent. Heart in mouth when Aurelio dives in due to his injury history. Flanno showing no sign of nerves. Centrally, Jay and Lucas have controlled the game, allowing More Relish and Kuyt to drift, and the front two speak for themselves. Fatastic first half to watch overall.

Interesting choice to go no subs until the end tbh.

I would have taken Aurelio off for the last 10 as Fwoy says, give Robinson some more exposure in the top flight and give Jonjo a brief run out when the game was over.

In honour of his efforts today, we should celebrate Jay Spearing. A Collection of his recent stuff off RAWK. A Cult Hero is born....

Apart from the obvious jizz over Carroll, Kuyt was immense tonight.

I'd still go after him.

He might know how to beat the shit teams.

Fair enough but now that Kenny has got the team motivated and wanting to play again I don't want to risk getting a better long term manager, rather take the safe/reliable option and know what to expect.
