[MOD EDIT]
Folks,

In response to interim feedback from Chris Murphy's wide ranging club review (* Note 1 below), together with feedback from some of our posters here (* Note 2 below), and because this week is an interstate game, we've decided for this week to have two gameday threads - the black thread and the white thread.

This is the Black Thread. In this thread we serve full strength beer by the pint and Chardonnay out of a cask. There's a smoker's balcony through the door on the right. The spa downstairs will be open (no glassware please) but if you go in you might want to take a urine sample afterwards to get checked by your doctor.

If you don't like it in here and you prefer things to be a bit tamer, then best take your presence over to the White Thread here

IMPORTANT: There are still rules, no streaking and no biffo. The normal rules of BigFooty apply (no sexist comments, no racist comments, no no bypassing the swear filter, no cleavage or bikini or lingerie or nude images, etc, etc). Offenders will be ejected (normal infractions apply).

* Note 1: No, not really, that's a blatant lie
* Note 2: That one is actually true

[/MOD EDIT]

A Sunday twilight sets up a season definer for both teams. Fremantle will be looking to make amends after a humiliating performance against the Adelaide Crows. Collingwood will be looking to improve upon a mediocre win against the Lions last week.

Fremantle enter this match as the warm favorites, and do have the edge in recent encounters against the Magpies, winning three of their past five games against Collingwood.

From an often pessimist, I have a good feeling we'll match up well and get the job done. If finals are a chance, we absolutely must win this one because I don't think we'll win Queens Birthday.

Collingwood 13.16.94
Fremantle 12.9.81

4 goals from Darcy Moore, Pendlebury at his best once again and Crocker returns with a couple of snags. From the opposition, a massive one from Fyfe who will answer his recent crtitics and Walters will do his usual think and kick 5.

I'm also feeling like De Goey could have a big one. Fingers crossed.

Would be a lot more confident if this was at the G. As it stands, over there they deserve to be favorites. Hopefully we can get the job done.

Hopefully Buckley wakes up on the right side of bed this morning and chooses to play our good game plan and not our shit one.

Greenwood to Fyffe

Hoping for something from Crocker. Two or three goals would do.:D

But welcome back to the kid, and time to resume his senior career.
Crocker to kick at least one goal :)
Magpies to win well.

i don't want Sandilands to plau for the danger he represents. I do want him to play because I can see our side thinking they have it won if he doesn't. The joys of anticipation!

If we are play the frenetic play on every opportunity with fast movement and spread gameplan then the wider boundaries may actually suit us.

When we play like that we win, when we chip it around we lose as we can't rely on a power forward to save us. Plus we have arguably the best midfield in the competition so lets back ourselves to be unbeatable at fast transition.

Go pies
