Re: ST KILDA launch an internal investigation over brawl allegation

DNA evidence could clear, or incriminate, all involved rather quickly.

Why not do this for 100% accurate answers?

Re: Roo - People are trying to break us down.

If by "stick fat" you mean "die".

Yes.

Re: Roo - People are trying to break us down.

St Kilda need to get the PR people back who handled the response to Riiewoldt's disgusting comments on homosexuals, amazing how little he copped for that

That wasn't Nick. It was someone trying to break him down.

Bit late for that really.
Even if you could isolate some DNA there has been so much elapsed time an evil "St Kilda bringer-downerer" could easily have had time to sneak into Saints HQ, pinch Sam's last pee sample and fly it back to NZ for distribution.

In fact Nick may even claim this has happened already and that the "bringerdownerer" was "dressed strikingly like Sam when he spread the stolen pee at the very same time he was asleep spooning me in our room."

Re: Roo - People are trying to break us down.

Are you seriously suggesting the same punishment apply to players missing a curfew as to players crashing a car whilst 3 times over the league limit?

Really there is a League limit? Saints would know about that, seeing as how they observe AGE limits.

Seriously, try dirk yates live. :p

Re: Roo - People are trying to break us down.

when and where did he say that....and if he did, then wow.

Triple M, a year or so ago, first word that comes to mind game - homosexuals, Riewoldt -"Die"

Re: ST KILDA launch an internal investigation over brawl allegation

What is disturbing about the latest allegations, is that these events, aren't occurring during players holidays, free time etc - but in the middle of a week long training camp - This suggest that ill-discipline is rife at StKilda.

No it wasn't, it was about 5 or 6 years ago on that show the Gospel. The format of the show was a few blokes sitting around and talking shit like you would with your mates. Riewoldt just said it as a joke, he shouldn't have said it but he wasn't being serious and he apologised afterwards.

Re: Why the current Saints team will NOT win a premiership

Try not to get caught up in semantics. Listing retired players is RARELY heard of and the only reason is salary cap pressure.

In Brisbanes case their salary cap pressure was deserved because they had won three flags. They gave an all time legend one-too-many years on his contract. It was an error but I'm sure most Lions fans would forgive that one.
You said UNHEARD of. As in NEVER happened. If you want to change that to rarely heard of, the expression you are looking for is "I was wrong" "I made it up" or "I've never heard of Michael Voss"

Timmy from Thomastown said:
Its not common practice to list a retired player. Its unheard of. .....

I dont recall it ever happening before,

Lol at he wasn't being serious, when will St Kilda supporters and its players finally own up to something?????

Keep crapping on anally about semantics. I dont mind.

Unheard of, almost unheard of, no difference really. Its just an expression. But thanks for pointing out the Voss case which I had forgotten....it proves my point.

The point I was making remains valid. The Allen situation proves StKilda were so tight on cap that they had no room to even rookie a skinny raw-boned 18 year old at the base wage. Under that scenario theres absolutely no chance that they would have had cap room for Goldsack or Wellingham even if they wanted them. Which they didnt of course, nothing is better than something!!!! Why would they want a player from Collingwood, they are crap!!!

Absolutely spot on.

Re: ST KILDA launch an internal investigation over brawl allegation

worst thing about reading these threads is reading the crap that collingwood carlton supporters who have an obvious dislike for St Kilda and continue to write biased and shameless remarks. You collingwood supporters have short memories wasn't your COACH the head of your club the big kahuna outed as telling a lie last season mmmmmmmm Glass Houses.
And didn't we cop some stick for that from saints fans. What goes around comes around.
Until any club can say they are clean no one really has a right to throw stones at anyone. But hey it seems to be selling papers and Big footy is feeding off it. Todays story in the HUN is rediculous.
Does that apply to everyone, or just people who bag the saints? Did you say that in support of Mick when he was copping his fair wack here?

Re: ST KILDA launch an internal investigation over brawl allegation

Dont be silly it was people outside the "bubble" who were at fault for lovett raping the woman (allegedly)

Frankly, I'm still staggered that Lovett was ever referred to as a St Kilda player.

Didn't he train twice, then get the arrse from the players who busted him that night?

The show was an informal comedy type show so most of the stuff was just guys joking around, might have been different if he said it on a serious talk show.

A bit hypocritical to be talking about us owning up to stuff when Collingwood players and coaches have lied to cover up stuff in the past.

Re: ST KILDA launch an internal investigation over brawl allegation

Or how about your club gets serious and starts penalising the players that continually bring the club down with their drunken or illicit behaviour ...the first rule of defending is deflection ..it's good to see you Saints supporters are in sync with your club .

Something seriously wrong down at St Kilda
For a start, it's not 'my club'.

Secondly, what are the actual drunken and illicit acts you're talking about?

And please use actual things that happened as examples.

I'm serious too. Please list these 'drunken and illicit acts' that have been continually happening.

I despise the footy media, and I get further and further disgusted with society and how gullible and easily led they are by these animals that masquerade as journalists these days.

Hook, line and sinker. Every time.

Re: ST KILDA launch an internal investigation over brawl allegation

The AFL didn't step in and do anything when Collingwood were lying about the Didak/Shaw drink driving incident and the Didak/Hudson incident which were far worse than any of our incidents so why should they step in now?
1 - Collingwood weren't lying, 2 of their players were.

2 - Worse than the comedy of errors we've seen from you mob since they lost yet another GF? That's a matter of opinion.

3 - The AFL don't need to step in, because the club already did, and implemented a solution that seems to have worked a treat. Your club hasn't done that. Blaming the media is not a valid solution.

Re: Why the current Saints team will NOT win a premiership

Tell me again about your club’s most revered player and leader…. That’s right the one who r*#%ed his best mates wife, was a confessed coke head, was convicted of indecent assault and of belting women. I’ll take Nick thanks.

Most posters are correct – probably won’t win the flag, as Collingwood are a better team. But one thing is for sure, they will finish ahead of North.

We'll at least Carey never starred in any gay pr0n with his prescription pill popping team mates. Yeah OK. I'll tell you about Wayne Carey. He's got issues with himself, the world, his family, his career, the law and yes it's highly unlikely St. Kilda will finish behind North Melbourne

But the real issue here is, after 3 GF appearances Wayne has two of these:

Failwoldt has zero. You really need to try harder

Re: ST KILDA launch an internal investigation over brawl allegation

The people constantly lying have been the schoolgirl and the media trying to create scandals. St Kilda haven't been the ones lying, in fact they've probably been been too honest with the media who have used it against them.

What frightens me is you seem to really believe that.

Re: ST KILDA launch an internal investigation over brawl allegation

Absolutely spot on.

"Early in the pre-season three St Kilda players are part of a 10-hour drinking session in Lakes Entrance that ends up with Collingwood's Scott Pendlebury being assaulted by a local footballer.

"Just as we felt we were making progress, these sorts of situations, and the obvious damaging fallout for a few of the Collingwood boys, needed constant vigilance from players," writes Missen."

??

Collingwood players getting into fights after 10 hour drinking binges during the pre-season???!!

On a side note, and to highlight how pathetic this media frenzy is, we have two groups of footballers having a 10 hour drinking binge during the pre-season.
One of the players gets in a fight and gets beaten up.

Guess which two sides they're from? And then guess who played off in the Grand Final?

Then try to tell me that these petty and trivial 'scandals' have the slightest impact on the footy.

Jesus, I bet 14 other clubs wish they had such terrible discipline problems!
