Our midfield is too lightweight.

Skilled players no doubt but there is no grunt. They are easily bodied off the ball, they cannot stick tackles.

I'm not sure what the solution is but I'm pretty certain it's more than just Wines and Drew taking some centre ounces

The solution is to have a game day coach who understands when to run bigger bodies through there to re-take momentum when needed and not just stick with the same core group.

They're not too small.

They just want to play millionaire football all the time.

They need to learn when to roll up the sleeves.

Yep, fully agree. They have no issue with the physical stuff. We hold tackles just fine most weeks.

We're just mentally weak under Hinkley and shit the bed on a regular basis. The midfielders aren't immune to that.
