Port are a good team, but they have been found out this season. Ken Hinkley isnt a tactical genius as people thought but they still got quality players that can win games.

You know what's amazing? Pavlich is putting up better numbers than last year across the board, while playing nearly 20% less gametime.

It's not that amazing. It's the first time in many years we've played a 2nd dedicated tall forward. Pavlich is reaping the rewards of not being double-teamed in every contest. Matt Taberner is no star but his contribution to the structure is very important.

Then again they were 14.4 and had 25-11 in free kicks. They were playing like men possessed and could have knocked off any team today on their home deck. Still wish this thread didn't exist.

Don't forget Dickson also kicked 7. How often does a team kick so accurately, gets over double the free kicks and has a forward kicking 7 goals and still lose? That's a hell of an effort by Freo given all that.

Freo will make the GF, no doubt. But can they kick a winning score in one?
