Fitzroy won the premiership and the wooden spoon in the same season.....1916. It's going to be hard to replicate that feat but I think the boys might have it in them....at least half of it
I'm concerned by the direction that you've taken. We've spoken about football, young kids, hair ties and head bands not being an appropriate fit. You were more suited to lead our whipping when you were a dead man fondling himself.

tis early in the season sr.... i'm finding it hard to achieve the right extension in the current environment. I'm not naturally a passionate man although the passion does rise when i highlight people's weaknesses. And we will see plenty of those this year so the trick is to stay calm and wait for the bad ball ...

Plus I need to update myself on the new crop of losers. It seems to me that many of them are so bad that I think the club is going to jettison them without our assistance. For example, that guy richards has an uncanny knack of never getting near the ball. It's hard to bucket him when he never does anything.

but i'm touched that youre concerned with my d irection

I'm the first to admit that I didn't watch the practice match, but that doesn't stop me from knowing that we were a soft half arsed joke today. AJ - soft. Macrae - spud. Frampton - Frampton, Dean - first name of someone who mows the lawn, etc...

and freddie kreuger has gone on holiday again....geez we were taken to the cleaners with that one.

I’ve been a big critic for a long time but

WHE with his intercept marking, run and kicking was good in that defensive role last night

The key is to play him spare… because he doesn’t have the physicality to match up on many forwards

The bolded belongs in this thread (You should have said soft, whimp or squib though) - the other stuff can GTFO.

Before the bounce of the real stuff, is Kruegs favourite?

Where is the the starting lineup?

Kruegs is up there. Just because he rarely finishes a game doesn’t let him off the hook.

WHE is up there again too. We don’t care that he played well yesterday, or when it counted in the closing minutes of the Grand Final. Pfft. Facts have never had a place in this thread. He is still Will The Invisible.

We might also be able to resurrect Murphy’s previous role as a whipping boy. He’s already disappointing us, and that’s a bad sign.

Who else is injured, that we can stick the boots into?

This thread is like walking into the Grace Darling and finding the only seat is between two old toothless codgers arguing about the price of fish in Hunan. Much as I enjoy the repartee, right before the first round of the most important football award it is time to focus on reality.

Last year, the JB Memorial Award was a slam dunk for WHE and ultimately and easy pick for punters like your good selves. This year looks as hard as it seems for AJ to rediscover those sticky hands and a beautiful shot on goal. Lets remember, you can't win the JB from the seconds, which rules out many candidates from the start.

I was all set to nominate Frampton. Bit like a mechanic, only useful when you break down, Frampton's whippability was well hidden by McRae last year. Moving him from postion to postion last year was a masterful stroke, deflecting the reality he was useless on all fronts. We recruited a ruck/forward to play back, turns out he is below par on all accounts. I thought he might have footage of McRae saying what he really thinks of Vossy but now he is emergency.

Too early to say on Dean, suspect he will just pull JB Memorial points from Frampton. Lipstick, by all accounts, is on track to improve from his anus horribilis last year. As an astute reader of the main board (even though the price of fish in Hunan has infiltrated) I have noticed WHE has shifted from "if we don't move beyond him we'll get nowhere" to somewhat of a cult favourite. At worst I find "couldn't fit him in my team, hard done by, will be missed." Not going to be WHE for the JB this year. A left field favourite is Macreery. Can't see it myself, once the kid gets a haircut he'll rip the game apart.

Which leaves who? I am going with Frampton. Take a punt you mob, the hour is upon us.

This thread has really gone down hill since I left.

Anyway, my pick for the JB is Darcy Cameron.

What are you saying? No one told me you left, would have held a party. You are the grandfather, keep up the cameos, the codgers' ha got nothin.

Big pick. Sure bet he will play unless injured is a plus but no way even the smart mob on the key analysis threads will want to drop him as who supports Cox? Frampton - see my selection, AJ - ffs no. He will be in the mix but doesn't have the attributes of a JB winner for mine.

Mark kicked me out.

Mark? Who tf are they? Just sayin, I spent 3 months on Markfs's lawn and nothing came out the front door. I conclude Markfs is either the size of the Hindenburg Blimp or a bot. Same goes for Sr36, went to Vietnam and Adelaide, nothin. Russian bots the pair of them. They will try and exclude astute posters like yourself from expert commentary because it highlights their lack of substance.

Notice the bots have not tried to select a JB Memorial winner. Algorithms fail on such a complex subject.

i think that i can walk faster than tom mitchell can run.....pendles has hit the wall... james dean was in Giant in the 50s and never left..
