I mean, the majority of us just ignore it, so there's really no harm. Stupid as hell though of course.
Odd fight really. Nothing to lose for Max (aside from even more braincells), but plenty at stake for Gaethje. Another big gap for Makhachev sucks, but that's going into the Middle Eastern markets leads to.

Because its a dumb gimmick belt. This fight and the previous ones could have all happened without the belt. It's just a way to get a 5 round fight which they have done without belts before anyway.

Well not really, it's so it can headline UFC 300 over the top of Belal vs Edwards or the Chinese fight both fights which no one's gives a **** about.

They must have paid her a shitload too, she wins the $1Mil tournament every year at PFL I think.
Fight is at 135, gonna be a tough weight cut for her, she fights at 155 in PFL

Last weekend's women's fight was the final straw for me and now they add another WMMA fight to 300 with a 42-year-old Holm. The UFC's talent is already diluted enough with the almost weekly events, we don't need WMMA being added to these cards. Just look at last weekend's TITLE fight to see the quality, even more proof is that Katlyn Chookigan is ranked 4th in her division still!! Now we will have Julianna Pena, close my eyes and flail some punches, vs Pennington be a co-main for a PPV in the future. This spot should be filled with a high-quality, number 1 contenders fight or two top contenders at a minimum, men's fight. I know there are a few exciting women's fighters and we've seen some good fights/moments but these are too few and far between. I have been in the camp of letting it evolve and giving the women time to improve but once again Chookigan is still ranked 4th. Just look at the below stats, we are seeing more boring decision than ever from the women. These fights kill all of the build-up and excitement of a card.

Nah, I like WMMA. The issue is that the skill gap between the best and the worst is enormous. Zhang vs Joanna is one of the best fights ever, male or female.

300 is certainly shaping up now. Surely Harrison is going to actually have to lose a bit of size to make 135?
I was very skeptical she could even make 135 but apparently has done a test cut. I wouldn’t think she will have too much trouble beating holm. Hopefully nunes comes back because that’s really the only fight I want to see and I think she will struggle consistently making weight

I used to always use the Joanna vs Weili argument when defending WMMA to my mates. The fight was 4 years ago though.. How many of these "worst" fights have we had to endure since then?
You have to remember that when they're booking WMMA fights they are not booking Men's fights. So yes we've seen some good female fights but you can basically count them all on your hands. I guarantee if we had have had the men fighting instead we would've had more quality fights.
