The Glen Archer medal ceremony a little over the top???

Does it matter who is a "better" player. Both Archer and Grant are very important to their teams and are appreciated greatly by the fans. How does Chris Grant being a "better" player have anything to do with Glen Archer's achievement of 300 games? IMO if you play 300 games there must be something pretty damn good about you.

I wasnt the one who brought up who was the better player.

Carey would've kicked that. :thumbsu:
Yes, use a quote that was taken back by the person who said it, well done :thumbsu:

Did I say it was you? Was just stating my opinion. I just dont understand why things like this always deteriorate into so-and-so is a better player than someone else, when it is obvious that both players being discussed are greats of their respective teams. Can we not just give credit when credit's due. Well done Archer on 300 games.

Hear hear.

But thats obviously asking a bit too much of some people. Don't worry. Apparently we're going to finish on the bottom also and have a tired untalented list. But having said that, as previously stated, this was a NMFC event and we don't particularly give a shit who liked it, or who didn't. It wasn't actually anything to do with anyone else.

Be that as it may, he still said it, and we all know it's true.

Something doesnt mean anything if its taken back by the person who said it. Anyways, why is Carey getting mentioned in this thread anyways, its means to be about hte presentation to Archer after his 300th game.

Petrie would've kicked that. :thumbsu:

EFA.;)

Chris Grant is a fantastic player. Probably on of the best CHB's to play the game i believe. Its a pity that the Dogs couldnt find a decent CHF so Grant couldnt play in the position that he was best at.

I've watch plenty of games where the Kangeroos have played. He's not that skilled and not that good! Overated by the media! He trys hard though.

He must have a fair bit of skill to play 300 games. The only club you could play that many games and get away with being useless is Richmond. They might even name you Captain.
