While Boomer is a bit of a stager he did cop one across the nose and that is never a nice feeling.

I get pretty disillusioned with the way Boomer gets bagged on this board.
He is just a superstar, take into account his size and the way he gets scragged EVERY week, I think he does an outstanding job for the Kangaroos.

No argument Happy Days but this year (but for the last game) he seems to be acting more and tackling less!
He is a champion but I think he should lead by example and not act for free kicks particularly now he has a formal leadership role at the club

If its such a big deal let the umpires crack down him and the rest will run its course, Harvs still is miles ahead of a majority of players in the AFL as far as talent goes anyway.
Supporters of the tigers don't have to worry about the Richmond Football Club winning any logies, they are doing a $hithouse job of trying to be an AFL club.

I just really do not think it is even worth talking about.....and I would hate to think that Boomer is worrying about it.

After the Bulldogs game Harvey was really $hitting me. His diving was annoying and his goal celebrations were just plain embarassing.
Since then, I think he has been heaps better in attitude (still not perfect) and now his form seems to be coming back.
Didn't think he over-reacted too much with the campbell whack. It hit him in the lip I thought, and would have hurt. Most players would have grabbed their face in the same situation.
Would love to see harvey not celebrate a goal for the rest of the year.

What's the big deal with the goal celebrations (Mark Williams 'rifleman' excluded)? Nothing wrong with showing your delight now and then. The staging for frees is of far greater concern.

Anyone whos ever copped a quick jab to the face, particularly the nose, knows that you get a horrible sensation and it generally makes your eyes water. The fact that Boomer didn't go to ground would suggest he wasn't putting on an act, merely reacting in a normal human way.
It is not as if Boomer made the friggin report!!
He got hit across the chops and it startled him. As has been said, worth of a free kick, nothing more, nothing less.
