Found it pretty boring. Probably the worst episode for me so far.

I reckon you will absolutely love the final 2 episodes. Jam packed with so much stuff, should be excellent. As someone that has played the game, even I will be on the edge of my seat.

Not going to lie - I fast forwarded the kissing scenes in this episode as well as Bill and Frank. No thanks.

And before the homophobe insults start flying around I do that man-woman ones as well. Just not a romantic type which my wife could definitely confirm.

Anti kisser?

Just on YouTube now and it’s made me wonder, does anyone who hasn’t played the games worry about getting spoilers for the second game on YouTube? The algorithm has just given me a few Game/Part II videos that completely spoil the game.

It’s really hard not to get those videos on YouTube if you’re googling the show.

Don’t be stupid. Anti affection in general. ;)
I mean sure it was an absolutely nothing episode, but it definitely wasn't Daenerys sitting in a pyramid doing f* all for 3 seasons so will wear that.
Technically she was waiting for another book to be written to give her some decent plot direction.

when you foreplay with the wife...do you >> as well....just get to the money shot already !?!?! :D

I thought the episode was ok but probably the weakest thus far. It did plod a little in that mall and just meandered along.

I wasn’t very impressed by the acting of Ellie’s friend (or maybe it was her dialogue) as it didn’t feel real.

Anyway, it did flesh out Ellie’s sense of loss and fear of abandonment a little more.

imo, mega shopping malls, casinos...etc...the likes of Las Vegas....are absolute abominations of human greed and desires...
if i have to go to Chaddy, that's going to hell.
forests of trees for me thanks.

no surprise that the gamers love the show/characters, same as if there was a live action series for Duke Nukem, imagine he says I'm here for chewing gum and kicking arse...and im all out of gum...sure it's childish but i guarantee that would receive a standing ovation.

me, i can't wait to see Cate Blanchett in Borderlands

After they were both bitten Riley and Ellie opted not to take option 1 - ie kill themselves. We see them spending their last intimate time together in the expectation that they both will become infected. At some point Riley will become a fungus monster but Ellie won't. At that stage Ellie won't know that she's immune. She might think Riley has succumbed first. What will she do if Riley attacks her? It would be a powerful scene if the show comes back to it.

Wasn't as bad an episode as some are making out IMO. More character building.
An episode like this should give us information that changes our perspective on a particular character or the story. We learned very little from the episode we didn't already know.

That was always the basic satire of Romero's Dawn of the Dead. Zombies as a metaphor for consumerism.

haha, did they really steal that and put it in a Duken Nukem game? Its from Rowdy Roddy Piper in John Carpenter's "They Live".

Very on brand though lol

Remember thinking similar in the game/DLC, we didn't get to see it there either so doubt it will be in the show.
