A friend just got a heap of sets from China. The instructions are shit and some were just shoved in random bags in the box and not labelled at all. He seemed happy though.

I'm feel like I'm quite fortunate at the moment, I have about 8 sets in the pile, including 2 technic cars, Friends Apartments and Great Wave (as well as some smaller sets like botanicals). I'm also expecting all the PAB pieces for Voltron in the next day or two.
So I don't really have anything else that I need/want at the moment. My focus currently is on waiting for the double VIP points for the MOC idea that's currently sitting in my basket, then thinking about the semi-MOC Ferrari F1 car that I'd like to try.
As I've said all along, I think I'll ultimately end up buying the Batcave Shadow Box, but I'm not in a rush for it, and if I can't ever get it for sub-$400 I think I'll easily be able to forget about it, because from all the reviews I've watched it's just not value for money at a higher price point than that. (I may buy Optimus Prime if he ever ends up in the $150 price range, but he's been on special this week and still cost 200, which is more than I'm prepared to pay.)
The timing's good, as I said recently I'm in the midst of some pretty major life decisions, deciding whether to eat a massive rent increase, move to a new rental, or try and buy a place. All that obviously impacts space and ability to buy lego. Especially if I buy a place - I'll be poor, and hard pressed buying much lego, but being able to set up permanent display solutions would be incredible.

If I get any in the near future it will be if they do more art sets or more botanicals.
Titanic, the bulldozer and the crane are half of the total. Back in the realms of reality there's the Eldorado Fortress, some of the Sonic sets, Donkey Kong, Pac man, Lion Knights castle and the two new Japanese themed Himeji castle and tranquil Garden sets.
There's always far more on the list than will ever be acquired, but it's fun to dream

I like the look of the tranquil gardens set. No doubt I will end up with it.
The individual flowers you could put in your very colourful vases. That would keep your display in theme and look very bright.
Yeah I think I'll wait until it's available discounted somewhere. Most of the Botanicals did eventually reach the majors.

The other hinderance I’m facing with Lego atm is that I broke a bone in my hand on Friday. I’m fairly ambidextrous, so I may still be able to sort PABs - but I don’t think there’ll be heaps of building happening in the next 4-6 weeks

Realised I forgot to post the finished version of my Mighty Bowser from a couple of weeks back.
Was an fun build, nothing crazy. I thought how they pulled off the roundness of the shell was pretty clever, and looks great when done.
Put him on display with the bigger Koopa and Goomba from one of the Mario sets, not sure the shelves will stay like this but for now their looming large next to the Stranger Things kids.
While I was in a Bowser photo mood, grabbed a photo of a few of my Bowser related Mario sets. I know these sets aren't popular, and I wish they had proper builds with them, but I really like the brick built figures.
Don't know if I'll ever have the patience but it would be cool to MOC the sets into something a bit better looking. I do like his Airship though.
I'll finish off with a few of my big ticket sets on the shelf, like I said I think I might shuffle them around soon but that's they're home for now - I really like the presence of the Barracuda, T-Rex / Gate and Optimus Prime alongside Bowser though.
