Not sold on that Lambo, I think that's the first of that scale car that I won't get. The larger cars like the Corvette don't really resonate with me as they're largely iconic American models, and clearly designed for that market.42161 Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica
I'll prob grab that
Don't like the corvette
Realised I forgot to post the finished version of my Mighty Bowser from a couple of weeks back.

Was an fun build, nothing crazy. I thought how they pulled off the roundness of the shell was pretty clever, and looks great when done.

Put him on display with the bigger Koopa and Goomba from one of the Mario sets, not sure the shelves will stay like this but for now their looming large next to the Stranger Things kids.

While I was in a Bowser photo mood, grabbed a photo of a few of my Bowser related Mario sets. I know these sets aren't popular, and I wish they had proper builds with them, but I really like the brick built figures.

Don't know if I'll ever have the patience but it would be cool to MOC the sets into something a bit better looking. I do like his Airship though.
I'll finish off with a few of my big ticket sets on the shelf, like I said I think I might shuffle them around soon but that's they're home for now - I really like the presence of the Barracuda, T-Rex / Gate and Optimus Prime alongside Bowser though. View attachment 1760146
Yeah that is a good get, well done. I think I paid close to full whack for mine instead of waiting for a little while. Would love the crane but that price is just nuts. I got the last big red crane (42082) which I think had an RRP of $500 for more than 4,000 pieces, and was redily available discounted. I think even at half price the new one wouldn't be an automatic get, particularly as there's so much else on offer this month. The technic mars rover is being delivered today, got it for $111 which I thought was pretty good.
Next my eye is on the Liebherr crane, but I dare say that one will have to hit half price at some stage.
Can be worth checking on the shelves of your local Lego Store in case they still have stock, sometimes you can find retired products there, but yeah amazon is probably the best bet. There are resellers who deal in retired products but you may pay more - I've used Justbricks in the past and they've been good, but there's many others. Do a search on the set number (42110 for the Technic, 10317 for the Icons) and you'll get some suggestions. Is Amazon the best place to look at for sets you can't get through Lego anymore?
Would love to get the Land Rover Defender in the coming months.
Build it. Then, if it wasnt a set I wanted to keep, I would dismantle it and pass it on.Here's a question for everyone:
If someone put a lego set in front of you, would you leave it alone or would you build it?
Interesting, didn't realise there was a second one.Can be worth checking on the shelves of your local Lego Store in case they still have stock, sometimes you can find retired products there, but yeah amazon is probably the best bet. Then of course there's ebay/gumtree etc. I've never tried those but you may find a seller you're comfortable with.
(PS 10317 is still a current product, you should be able to get it from Lego)
Yeah Toys'R'Us has an Australian web presence. I read recently too they're planning to open a physical stopre in Melbourne. They also own Hobby Warehouse. I've not dealt with them but they appear reputable.Interesting, didn't realise there was a second one.
Wanted the Technic one for the moving pistons (and preferred the colour). Will check Amazon. Saw Toys R Us were selling one from an Australian site - didn't know they were still a thing haha.
Spoiled for choice haha.Yeah Toys'R'Us has an Australian web presence. I read recently too they're planning to open a physical stopre in Melbourne. They also own Hobby Warehouse. I've not dealt with them but they appear reputable.

I'm looking at a terrifying box full of 2000 unsorted pieces. (I'll post a pic when I have daylight tomorrow if I remember)
Would depend on what it is.Here's a question for everyone:

Sounds like the perfect opportunity for a mental health day .Collisseum is here. Biggest and heaviest box. Unfortunately I am off to work now
That's on the list . I can't see that there's any way I'll be able to build that alone .I just made the Friends botanic garden. It's pretty cute.
