Kind of had a lol moment discussing Lego with people at work - past builds and what we want to build in the future etc. Like having an internet forum chat, but socially in person :p all that was needed was more photo swapping or bringing out the models themselves primary school show and tell style :p
Awesome :).

It wasn't something I could easily discuss at my workplace ;).

We done peeps.

So at the back there's some knows that raise the drawbridge in the middle. Trap door at the back for the flame of the batmobile.
Bloody fun build. 10/10 would recommend the spend

But is that the final resting place or where is it going on display ? It's not officially finished if you haven't moved it to it's final location :p

Haha. Off to IKEA on Sunday to find a display case/shelf

The Deltof (sp?) is big along collectors, though not really big enough for Lego.

Anyway, they’re about to adjust the design of it, so be aware that if you buy one now, then you buy another in 6 months, it won’t match.

It’s worth checking marketplace/gumtree, you can find Ikea furniture all the time. I love that, not cos it saves me $100s, but cos I don’t have to build the flat pack.

I quite like the Rudsta & Milsbo depending on the size you’re after. Billy book cases are a much cheaper option that don’t have doors.

The next modular, Natural History Museum, will ship from 1 December instead of 1 January as has been the case in the past. It's the biggest ever modular set at 4014 pieces, and can be pre-ordered now from Lego.com or the stores. I'd be tempted to wait though until the VIP weekend (18/19 Oct) as there will be double points and quite likely a GWP.

The Galileo GWP is now available with purchases over $215. I ordered the Viking Village and a trinket to get this, I have the other similar ones and thought this looked good, apart from the very lazy minifigure and the globe with the modern world map on it ;).

EDIT : typo

Doing some window shopping, just found it amusing that among the Lego there's a Titanic "rip off" amongst the official Lego products :p I've seen another bootleg Titanic previously, slight chuckle :p

Second pointless Lego story - I was doing some housework and had to move some Lego in order to dust a nearby stand. In doing so I bumped into another Lego item (aka the recent mini Lego Batwing that I built) and I heard something go flying off of it :(. Petrified that I'd never 1) find the lego piece on the ground and 2) wouldn't be able to put it back on the Batwing itself.................... until I looked down and realised (thankfully) that the thing that I knocked off was the Lego Batman figure that I positioned on one side of the Batwing itself :p #crisisaverted

Couple more speed champions this weekend to calm my frazzled nerves.

The Pagani and the Supra. The Supra was the more fun, The back end of the Pagani is a little imprecise and pops out a bit easily for mine. Still, they did a reasonable job of affecting the funny angles of the back of the Pagani.

And as always, the frustrating blend of printed and sticker parts.

The white Countach remains my favourite of the current issue. I wonder how many of these I have now? Including the older 6 stud models. I reckon once I get some display cabinets I'll find out.
