Don't panic Mr Mainwaring (apologies if you're younger than me and don't get the reference ).

I got this message the last few times I ordered, I think it's just their system's way of alerting you to a delay (which you'd expect after BF anyway)

Go into your Lego account on lego.com and select My Orders. Go to the one you placed today and it should tell you that the sets are "In Warehouse". That means they exist and are ready for shipping. They usually ship within 2 days.

I feel deflated by that. I don't even know why, cos I appear to have got one. I guess I just really loathe scalpers in all walks of life.

Probably not likely. It should be possible to build from parts, I don't believe even the minifigures have unique pieces.

I wish they'd do that more. The only people that lose are scalpers and people that have paid scalper's prices.

I don't give a shit if they re-release something that I already have. I don't buy my Lego to sell, so it doesn't devalue what I have in the slightest.

If anyone missed out and still wanted the Endurance with lifeboat, I’d keep an eye on here and maybe subscribe to get notified when back in stock.

It’s where I got the lightsaber after it’d sold out elsewhere and still showing up with the lightsaber with the sail barge if anyone missed that one.

I mentioned last night that it was my first time staying up for a midnight release. I hadn't quite considered how lucky we were living in a relatively small market - reddit is full of complaints about overseas Lego sites crashing under the demand.

Should've bought 2 of the Endurance's. I could've been one of the scalpers I despise so much! Seeing it sold out here by this morning, and seeing it crash overseas sites, I underestimated how popular is was going to be.

Who knew that including a critical part of 'the story' as a limited time GWP would force people to buy it immediately? It has to be Endurance, cos Lego's Black Friday sales are total crap, bordering on non-existant.

You're right. I've considered that in the context of it funding future purchases, but at the end of the day this is a hobby, and if I have to start worrying about buying the right things to sell and running a business on the side would make it too much like work.

Shouldn't be that long. Some of the stuff I ordered last weekend arrived midweek, and the rest is due Monday.

That's pretty impressive turnaround on what is probably their biggest weekend of the year. I've just had a notification that Artemis (ordered last weekend) should arrive today (as apparently the PO are delivering on weekends until Christmas).

EDIT: Update, have just received email from Lego saying my Endurance order has shipped, only 36 hours after ordering. They have sorted their fulfillment it would seem, it used to take ages. For those concerned about receiving an email about their order being OOS not long after placing it, I got one of these too .

So, with that out of the way, it's on to January's new releases . Details are starting to appear, and of course some have already been announced. The new modular should be revealed very soon - it looks impressive from the available pictures.
