It won't be for minors, it'd be for adults and older teenagers to verify themselves online.

Would it be reasonable to apply the same laws of advertising standards from TV to social media? I guess the problem there is what is an ad and what isn't?

But no discussion about adult social media use. Adult trolls abound on social media. I see parents stuck on their phones while their kids are clamoring for their attention but the parents pay no heed because they are glued to their screens.

It's a bit difficult to demand kids get off their devices when they see their parents on them all the time though. Maybe politicians could be banned from using them in the Senate and HoR as an example to the youth of our country.
