Dyche operating without a budget is a myth. They got promoted the second time after spending big on Gray, and they've spent a competitive amount this season. Sure they're over performing, but talk of Dyche working on a tight budget is inaccurate imo.

Gray cost £11m. About the same as they received for Ings and Tripper.

They spent money last season on Brady £13m, Hendrick £10m, Defour £7m, Westwood £5m, Gudmunsson £2.7m.

This season they bought Wood for £14m but sold Keane for £25m and Gray for £18m.

It's a net outlay of less than £10m.

There's Graham Potter in Sweden, taking Ostersunds from the 4th tier to the 1st, and looks to be contending for Europe next season, yet no one wants to give him a chance. (I honestly wouldn't have minded.)

His work with Ostersunds has been incredible, and you could say his best work has been finding players outside the Football League with the technical ability but not the ability to kick the shit out of someone. Jamie Hopcutt has been an amazing signing for them and was instrumental in Ostersunds knocking out Galatasaray in the QR's of Europa.

If Sunderland were to have gotten Potter over Coleman, I'd have still been over the moon. The guy is a quality manager and a perfect example of what a move abroad can do for English managers (and players like Hopcutt).

10mil net? Burnley are getting Liverpool levels of money!

They would have received over £100m from Premier League prize money for finishing 17th last season. 6th place this season would earn them £140m. They would have a relatively low wage bill.

Alan Pardew would be the dog in that video if someone, anyone bothered with him enough to respond. He’s always seemed like a punk of a man and way too confident in himself considering he only manages the bottom of the barrel.

Big Sam now has a 100% win record at Everton, on top of his 100% win record whilst he was England manager I'd expect Real Madrid to be coming in for him soon. :D
Only took 2 wins and now you're just about fighting for a Europa spot. What relegation zone?

Hope he gets another chance in England.

Speaking of ex-City foreign managers:

Big Sam will eat him alive. You don't mess with the heavy weights of Everton.

Speaking of... now that Sam's in the Top 10, I wonder if this is the chance that he's being dying for? He could legitimately give this a red hot go.

There's a chance we could both be in League 1 next season. Fancy that considering we were in the Prem last year.
Some pretty decent clubs down there at the minute. Wigan, Portsmouth, Blackburn, Blackpool, Charlton etc
