Potter was a disaster and so far out of his depth. Surely you don't touch him.
He's a better fit as a project manager than Ange who has never really stayed in a job that long.

I didn't think we'd go down this youth project path when we signed ange as hard as we have.

We would be a much better fit for Potter than Chelsea with their approach was

Would your fan base have the patience for a project manager?

Ange out is so weird, what do the fans expect. Spurs squad is probably in that 6th to 10th best bracket and also dealing with a few injuries. I doubt they'd be upgrading manager if they sack this one. Potter is AVB bad.

It seems crazy to appoint Ange, sign players and build a team designed to actually compete for trophies in the future instead of just hoping to get a champions league spot every couple of years, then at the first real tough phase talk about getting rid of him.

On paper I wouldn’t put that squad in the best 5 in the league. The first 11 fit and fresh can beat anyone in the league but they rarely actually are in that situation, which explains the inconsistent results. Europa League is a nightmare for a team like them unless they actually win the trophy.

Ange might not end up being the right guy but surely the plan is to try and replicate what Arsenal have done with Arteta and you don’t get that by ditching the manager now.

I said at the start of the season that if Ange replicated what he did last year he would be doing well.

The extra games in Europe crush a squad like Spurs.

They are pretty much doing exactly what Newcastle did on a one year delay. This time last year they were smashed with injuries and really struggling. They ended up powering home after Europe was done to make the season look respectable.

Newcastle finished up in Europe before xmas, Spurs are going to be in Europe likely until mid March due to the expanded format and Europa being weaker than the CL, they are not going to get a clear run to be able to repair the damage in the league.

Pressure is getting to him. Risked both CBs today and it blew up. Was completely lost for ideas and if it wasn't for the wrong boots being selected in the wet, we'd have lost that by plenty

Rangers away EL
Saints away PL
United home QF CC

Don't think he gets the sack before all 3 are played. Don't think he has a job if we don't win at least 2 of the 3

They have a ruthless mentality up there.
Us Tiger fans watched over 5 years plus of our team going from strength to strength.
2016 we stood firm,I voted Peggy and Dimma in on the ballot sheet and the rest is history.
They have no idea up there of how long it takes to build a squad and Levy needs to get out the big cash also.
Ange is not the problem.

Different sports, different club structures. Premier league teams are typically not run by the supporters so spuds fans couldn't have voted for their manager.

Funny you mention 2016, the year spuds were in a two horse race against a squad of Championship players, cheap signings and loanees that had been cobbled together over like two years tops... and finished third.

Ange looks a broken man in his after game interview. Maybe knows he's a dead man walking.
Had as many wins after 50 games as Klopp and Arteta is the stat I saw the other day.

11th at this stage of the season with the chairmen who is responsible for the most sackings in the PL era, how is anyone surprised?

Because he hasn't sacked him, it's the fans who seem to want him out.

I get its not really kosher to question Ange with Australian football fans, or Celtic fans.

Take out his blistering start where we had 26 points after 10 games, when the PL didn't know how to handle Angeball. And it has been pretty shambolic. 60 points from the next 40 games. That takes us back to the 90s and early 2000s around the 50 points a season mark and 9-13th. The game style has been found out. Form wasn't great before injury crisis. And he is largely to blame for the crisis.

I don't expect us to finish top 4. But with the 6th highest wage bill in the league, 11th highest in Europe, we need to be performing far better than we are.

The good cup form is buying some time. But all that could in the next two weeks. Not in the top 8 of the EL, away trip to Rangers. Away in the league at Southampton. Then the QF against United.

Just don't see how he survives not winning 2 of those 3.
