Been listening to SEN, got jack of all the 'Carlton did this, Carlton didn't do that'. I texted their feedback line, saying Port need to be given credit, we are good. Within 10 minutes, they said 'We have to give Port Adelaide credit, and kicked off positive conversation about Port and replayed Kern's post match speech. Coincidence, maybe, but it highlights the possible power of the people.

I'd encourage all to flood the eastern states media with positive messages. There is room to grow 'underdog' love for port here still from the back of last years performance and this great start.

I like listening to SEN here in Adelaide. It's better than the 5AA moron's!

Don't worry about the eastern states media they are on board as evidenced by Gerard and Robbos comments about Kern a moment ago on AFL360.

It's the moronic sheep in the Adelaide media you need to be pressuring.

Good to have the Kokk on board. Kokkinakus trained with us today and keen to do a preseason soon. Ch 10 News
Yes. Can't have enough Kokks.;)

It's refreshing to listen to a coach who gives a frank and honest assessment of his performance and also his team's. As a supporter I much prefer that to the spin you often hear after a game. Egos and maybe the fear of putting your job at risk stops many coaches from being upfront.

But supporters can generally see through the spin. You can win respect from being upfront. Ken's done more to prove that he deserves our respect.

True! One advantage of living here in Vic is I can avoid those moronic sheep! You're right, they are on board here, we just need to be in their face more, which is something the cows don't do here at all. I'll leave the easy job of converting the Adelaide media to the folks still lucky enuff to be living there. Good luck with that task...

Stuff the moronic media here in Pissantville. Let them keep trying to dredge up endless puff pieces about the Crows Choir, knitting practice or Dangerfield's next cat. They don't deserve us.

I WANT THE WORLD!!!!

BWAHAAHAAHAAAA

Found this one buried in the deepest sections of adelaidenow (because clearly its a port puff piece and no one wants to read that). Only to find it was one of those "herr derr register to read this article" ones. So I typed copy and pasted the article heading into google and there you go, straight to free and unregistered news.com.au :)

Mcdermott must be really pissing crows fans off.

Good grief that is a badly written article, do they have any sub-editors at all down at the sunday fail? I can understand someone who was hit in the head as much as McDermott having trouble writing anything other than a stream of consciousness spiel like that, but what was with having the headline be about what he said in the first couple of paragraphs, when the majority of the article was about what we need to do in the Carlton game? I'm mentally renaming it "Time for Port to deliver on a summer of promise" and double underlining my mental note not to give News Ltd any money ever again. End transmission!

It would just be symbolically sweet if Geelong convinced him to go to them after our Boy Boaky told them to shove it.
Not only did he stay with us while we had no coach. But he then became captain and then recruited his sisters boyfriend Biemans out of the Geelong system to come be in the leadership group for the maggies.

Reckon Geelong would only have to send this guy and Paddy would be like "Where do I sign?!"

You mean you don't envisage many of our supporters reading that article and nodding their heads?

Oh I'm sure many will be nodding their heads and pissing themselves laughing. This thread though is about positive Port Adelaide articles though. This story, Dangerfield and the Crows in general are starting to fester in multiple threads on the Port board. Ideally all this discussion should be in the single General AFL talk thread.

So he's out of contract at the end of NEXT season??? Dafuq are they talking about it now??
More like dafuq is he talking about it now. Most highly rated & sought after players would want to be low key on their contract situation but here's 'look at me' Paddy coming out saying the club either shapes up or he'll ship out.

He could've just as easily said I don't want to talk about contract negotiations until next season & left it at instead he talks about how success will be the deciding factor & that'll be tough to achieve after losing multiple players & being hit by draft sanctions.

Agree with Forzaport about this talk not being relevant in this thread, maybe we could move the posts to the other thread to get this one back on track with Port good news stories.
