Part of me would love to pick up Fev just for the subsequent media excitement, bashings, beat-ups and then eventual questioning of how this curly headed maffra nobody is keeping a super awesome full forward out of the side etc etc..


Plus - with more genuine reasoning - more television exposure, which for us free-to-air Victorian's is very, very rare.

Note: Please don't list off a thousand reasons why recruiting Fev would be stupid.. I may be a non-respected Bigfooty apprentice, but I'm well aware of the content of several Fev threads that have appeared on here. (Plus I'm against getting him)

In what continued an extraordinary week for the Power, Schulz ducked and weaved away from two big punches - a right and a left - from fellow leadership member Jackson Trengove. In amazing scenes at Alberton, training came to a halt as the pair were separated by nine teammates, including captain Dom Cassisi.
Key defender Trengove - tipped as a future Port skipper - hit out at Schulz after the veteran forward took exception to heavy treatment during a marking contest.
Schulz pushed back at Trengove, words were exchanged and then Trengove threw his punches, glancing Schulz's head.

It is understood Andy Otten and Bernie Vince were two of the Crows to let loose before coach Brenton Sanderson was forced to intervene. "They were fine," Crows operations manager Phil Harper confirmed.

In fact, it reads like the Crows `fight' happened before the Port one (notice there is no reference to `today' or `yesterday' or indeed any date), and that having seen Port's relatively positive spin coming from the event, the AFC have turned from their usual policy of hiding everything to get an easy headline.

The media BS that has followed us over the past 2-3 years is on another scale from anything we've known even when we were ostracised during 1990.

Nice to hear that Thomas got on the front foot yesterday in his media responses.
