Did he win the privilege in the GF tickets Chook raffle?Has absolutely nothing to do with sprinting and everything to do with free tickets to the Granny.
Am I the only one here who gets completely nauseated by Gossage & Reid?
They both claim to be fans of Melbourne based clubs, yet they are both absolute sycophants of the Egirls? To top it off Gossage starts tonight's Ch10 sports broadcast in his navy suit & gold tie, along with his blue & yellow scarf.
He might as well be their number one ticket holder.
At the end of 2013 I was at a club function at Subi where Gossage was the MC. He repeatedly referred to Freo as 'our club' I was stunned then and still can't believe the hypocrisyAm I the only one here who gets completely nauseated by Gossage & Reid?

Fyfe? what show was he on? context?Nat not looking comfortable on tv this morning, he’s touched and moved the paperwork in front of him a dozen times in 10 minutes.
He was on channel west coast as part of the pre game footy panel. On from 08:00 ti 08:50. When they asked him if he was going to watch the game, he said nope, I’ll be on a plane back home when the games on.Fyfe? what show was he on? context?
Probably because he was openly tipping the Pies yesterday...lolNat not looking comfortable on tv this morning, he’s touched and moved the paperwork in front of him a dozen times in 10 minutes.

I think a lot of the comments in the media re Fyfe are "tongue in cheek" type stuff. Being an Eagles supporter wouldn't expect Fyfe to say anything else - in truth he probably couldn't have cared less about either side in the GF! Wouldn't get too sensitive about what the media have to say. This caused a massive uproar with Eagles supporters when he said that he would be supporting the Pies over the Eagles.
Simon Beaumont on 882 kept running a sound bite of him saying it on Sunday and then called him "Un-Western Australian."
Then once a caller rang in and reminded him that Naitanui said that he was barracking for Hawthorn before the 2013 Grand Final, he finally shut up.
They will get end of first round pick(s) for Gaff/Lycett should they leave but I would suspect they are far from high enough to satisfy Melbourne. Plus, I can't imagine Melbourne, after just losing a preliminary final to WC, would actually want to make their team stronger. Freo on the other hand are not contending and would not be seen as a similar threat. The pick 5/6 would be the selling point that gets that deal over the line, if it ever happens (which I still doubt after many years of false hope). You have to laugh at Hardie (and WA media in general) jumping on the throw away Jay clark line of Eagles will look at Hogan but then no one offering a way for them to possibly get him.
They have no picks. They’d need to give up a very good player plus picks to get him across.
Just read Hardies spiel on Perth Now just then, why he implies he knows what’s going on at Freo astounds me. He has no idea. And he says lachies good as gone. Please spare me your crap Brad. You have to laugh at Hardie (and WA media in general) jumping on the throw away Jay clark line of Eagles will look at Hogan but then no one offering a way for them to possibly get him.

As Gaff was originally a Melbourne supporter it was said I think on the context that should Gaff decide to return to Melbourne that it could be a straight swap, but bare in mind this is coming from the media and not WCE Club, so wouldn't take too much notice - they are all blowing hot air at the moment!I suspect Hogan is only really keen on a Freo anyways, but you make a good point. Melbourne wouldn’t want to make the reigning premiers stronger.
Melbourne footy manager basically said he'd been told that gaff wasn't coming to the demons. I reckon he stays at WC.As Gaff was originally a Melbourne supporter it was said I think on the context that should Gaff decide to return to Melbourne that it could be a straight swap, but bare in mind this is coming from the media and not WCE Club, so wouldn't take too much notice - they are all blowing hot air at the moment!

this crossed my mind. However, from what has been said, both Gaff and Hogan appear to be looking for similar $$. If Melbourne can't front up the cash to keep Hogan with what he wants (going by the many comments on their board), not sure why they would have that money available for Gaff, or the need at that cost, particularly with the strength of the young midfield there already. As Gaff was originally a Melbourne supporter it was said I think on the context that should Gaff decide to return to Melbourne that it could be a straight swap, but bare in mind this is coming from the media and not WCE Club, so wouldn't take too much notice - they are all blowing hot air at the moment!
