Given they also didn't make finals it's not like they're punching down.Geelong taking the piss out of us on mad Monday

Yeah it's our fault an umpire can't do their job. Stupid headline anyway. They are taking aim at the AFL.Geelong taking the piss out of us on mad Monday

The logical part of my brain knows this funny. It's still too soon though.Geelong taking the piss out of us on mad Monday

Listened to Leigh Matthews and Caro talk about it, they couldn’t believe he was stood down! Are you serious?!Was listening the 3AW on the weekend, the commentary was basically, mistakes happen all the time, Crows are sooks and should get over it, they should've been better in that and other games and then they would be playing finals anyway. And that the Crows are kidding themselves that there will be any compensation
Im totally fine for the goal umpire making a mistake and calling it a point, the issue isnt that for me, its just the complete indifference to even considering a review that got me so pissed off.Listened to Leigh Matthews and Caro talk about it, they couldn’t believe he was stood down! Are you serious?!
They still seem to think it was a simple error, can’t punish for a mistake - missing the point that he made two f#*kn ups, and it’s the second error which was inexcusable.
Was pretty much Gil’s argument on the Sunday morning after the game. Was listening the 3AW on the weekend, the commentary was basically, mistakes happen all the time, Crows are sooks and should get over it, they should've been better in that and other games and then they would be playing finals anyway. Needed a Sydney player bumping the post and pointing to it hitting the post..Seems like they’re taking the piss out of the situation and the AFL more.
It this action something that opposition teams will intentionally employ in the future?Needed a Sydney player bumping the post and pointing to it hitting the post..
Don't know, Sydney certainly do.It this action something that opposition teams will intentionally employ in the future?
Back in the day I remember getting into trouble at school for knocking on my desk and the teacher went to open the classroom door.It this action something that opposition teams will intentionally employ in the future?
Maybe we should get goal posts like this and just bend them when the oppo kicks for goal..don't worry, the AFL are not going to ask for a game replay or any kind of fairness so we shoul dbe okDon't know, Sydney certainly do.
A lot of posters on here think we should, me I'm not a fan, but I get why others see it as an action we should employ
You were such a very naughty little boyBack in the day I remember getting into trouble at school for knocking on my desk and the teacher went to open the classroom door.
If we had banged the post it would have been a massive fine and possible draft sanctions. The swans interfering with goal post on a 2nd occasion, nothing to see here.It this action something that opposition teams will intentionally employ in the future?
Had to read that twice, first saw something about a teacher desk and knockingBack in the day I remember getting into trouble at school for knocking on my desk and the teacher went to open the classroom door.
Not if we keep it front and centre.bahahaha all will be forgotten from the AFL.
Well he would say that now wouldn't he!!Rosebury (the controlling and most senior umpire in that game) stated he thought it was a point and so didn't think a review was necessary either
Pretty sure that's a shot at the AFL and not at the Crows, no matter what a clueless newspaper says.Geelong taking the piss out of us on mad Monday

I will never ever forget it and I certainly will never forgive it and I suspect most crows fans won't either based on the commentary it has received. It goes in the bucket with the other times they have royally screwed us - this is just another not thought about way they got us this timeNot if we keep it front and centre.
What sort of reception can the umpires expect next year at AO? It will be an avalanche of hate.
I'm not sure the AFL will like that look.
They need to intercede and make this right. Doing nothing is asking for a prolonged PR disaster for the AFL. I'm sure the AFL would prefer this finished with.
The AFL perspective will be all we bee forgotten come start of next year. At best we'll get a friday night match at ADL oval. Not if we keep it front and centre.
