We do whinge a lot about the umpiring but it was horrendous in this match. Definitely cost us the game

The telling thing is when players from both sides run one way when the whistle is blown because they can all see which way the decision should go. We saw a few of those today.

While there will nearly always be a discrepancy in the free kick numbers in any game, 25 to 12 or an extra 13 frees, is the equivalent of having an extra player on the ground. Impossible odds to overcome.

Greenwood 18 tackles those numbers are insane alone. Philips lazzaro standard good vfl games but too hard to get them in the afl side in their proper roles. Phillips 20 hand passes aswell. Ford has to come back in.

It’s about us being a small irrelevant club that brings no consequence to the umpire no matter how poorly they umpire against us.

Yesterday was a classic example. It’s only North so let me call that OOF when they didn’t even see what happened.

They wouldn’t have dreamed of making that call against Collingwood, they would have said I didn’t see it, throw in.
