Its pretty dark for a first ep
it's unlike any show. like, there are so many "dark" shows, so many shows about drugs, cartels, people breaking bad, so it's interesting how similarly themed shows can be very different, push ideas, etc.Its pretty dark for a first ep

this is why there arent many truly greta tv shows. movies just requires 1.5 hrs of material. Not everything can be as perfect as the Baltimore Ravens, mate.

yeah, these days cinema is awful. all that marvel bullshit and remakes and re-dos. i think as we get older too we see thru all the bullshit more, less easy to please. There aren't many good movies either these days TBF. Can't remember the last time I was dying to go see something at the cinema and it actually met expectations.

there have been truly great movies in the last 20 years. i dont have time to list them but i generally agree wih youI genuinely think movies have got worse tho. I think of some of the great movies that did met expectations growing up for me, like Jurrasic Park, Terminator 2... I don't know, blockbusters these days just don't seem to be what they used to be.
Borat probably the last movie to meet expectations sadly, and those expectations were that I'd laugh and not much else.
ugh im spending all day today and Sunday moving home again. this will be like the fourth move ive had to make in the last year and a half. all from apartment to apartment. people selling their units off these days in a flurry of economic worry.
yeah thats part of all lease contract agreements, if theres a sale of property or owner wants to resume living there, they can give you short notice like a week. which is what i got this week, one week notice. i always live fairly light tho so bare minimum furniture/appliances. some abodes come part or fully furnished too.Moving sucks sooo much.
Can an owner really break a lease so easily?
Blade Runner 2049 and Dunkirk were pretty darn good. I had no expectations for Sicario and it was a pleasant surprise. There aren't many good movies either these days TBF. Can't remember the last time I was dying to go see something at the cinema and it actually met expectations.
this is the high density abode I'm moving into. i guess the only thing going for it is there should be a metric ton of sheilas to engage with

yep i have tons of those experiences. drunks. fighting couples arguing abd yelling. screaming kids. horny couples who just pound all night. drug dealers. feral divorced lonely women. etc etcOnly because I'm scared from an experience to similar set up to the photo of that building G.
Me and ex used to have this fat slob alcoholic neighbour who used to come how after the pub at 10pm or later and fall asleep with TV or stereo on full blast 5 nights a week and was impossible to wake up to tell him to turn it down.
Was a ******* nightmare.
always owning your own plot of land is better. strata rates are ridiculous. plus no freedom to do stuff like hang clothes on your line, have BBQs, and of course, walk around naked in the backyard. But then I've got a mate who lives in some very nice/expensive apartments at Docklands and it's beautiful and quiet despite being in the city.
I'm not living in no apartment building unless I win lotto.
