Hallahan is apparently Cunnington MK II. Not what we need. Our midfield is already saturated with inside midfieders, we need outside class and run. Hallahan does not satisfy those needs. I do like Harper though, I saw the game against WA and he was electric.

A Jayden Pitt/Isaac Smith quinella will do nicely. Top up on a couple of the more experienced VFL players after that, like Sewell, Richardson and Clifton, then use the last pick to snag a young ruckman if Hale moves on.

I'm just of the oppinion that the best player should always be taken and Hallahan just oozes class. Also not a fan of substituting Skill for Speed and we could probably pick up a pacey guy later in the Draft (E.G Isaac Smith)

Smith will go top ten for sure.

Those videos can be misleading. That was Harpers best game whilst Smith has done well in the SANFL. Harper is a chance to be available and considering he had an operation during the preseason, hindering his progress, he could be a bargain.

I was originally all for Pitt, but have changed my mind, and am now all for Harper. He can be something very special, and kills two birds with one stone as a line breaking mid and a forward with x factor.

I'm pretty sure that M. Ross is Ben Ross' brother. Not sure about the Delaney link though.

Then Brodie Smith has everything we are after IMO too.
Smedts a ripper too.....but do we have Chuck Norris already of similar ilk?...His skills are ridic though, class!

Or a medium defender with good skills and could provide a bit of rebound eg: Blayne Wilson, Billie Smedts

When selecting one off that group which is what we will do, class and skill will be taken as a priority, with speed just behind.

Hopefully we can secure Harper with pick 17. And depending on which pick we get for Hale we can secure someone else in that list. Turn our midfield into a group which is equally skillfull as it is tough.

Caddy is a life long North fan, and has trained with us as his nominated club for a couple of weeks this year as an AIS member, as such, Bon would of had a close look.

It's obvious we will get some real quality at our pick. Either of Harper, polec, smith, lamb, pitt, hallahan, caddy, cook, and the list really does go on. If we can trade hale for something around the pick 25-30 mark, we will be in a very good position to pick up some real class and effectively complete our midfield.

ATM Harper does look the goods but im sure tomoz ill be thinking someone else. Very good draft!

A chance. I wouldn't suggest that it would be an extremely high chance but a chance nonetheless.
