Mate if you are going to replace Cox then replace him with a premium or near premium ruckman such as Jolly, Kruezer, M.Clark, Tippet, etc. Don't even bother with Vickery.

He isn't the only one. I've already gone through plenty of trades on rucks myself and may have to use up another one this week.

Started off with Hille & Simmonds, then had to use two trades each to upgrade them to Cox & McIntosh, when they got injured/dropped. Traded out Cox a couple of weeks ago to Fraser and now he is injured as well. Not sure if I have enough trades left to trade Fraser though, so may have to stick with a zero for now. F***ing nightmare.

Hmm...I only have 4 trades left and I have Pyke as cover for Cox for at least this week...you think its worth waiting whilst I have cover?

My defence is ok, with only maybe Guerra needing upgrading, have Anthony as my last mid with both my bench players seemingly on the outer (Swift, Muston).

Up forward I currently have S Johnson & Pav sat out with Ballantyne and LeCras cover, Lecras to be traded once Johnson and Pav are back.

I would say he is more likely to stay in than not. He has been improving each week. If you have him and want to use him to cover Cox for a couple of weeks I think you will be safe.

Ok, here is my Ruck trade history. They were all quite early and I steadied the ship quite well after learning to use my trades more wisely. Currently 914th overall.
Bit embarrassing, but here goes...

RUCKS: Hille, Maric (White, Currie)

Rnd2. Hille > Ottens
Rnd5. Maric > Meesen
Rnd6. Ottens > Cox
Rnd7. Meesen > Spencer
White > Sandilands
Rnd16. Cox > McIntosh

I traded J Meeson to Naitanui prior to R12 lockout and put Cox on the bench until last round. Now Cox is out again and they selected Seaby with Naitanui as an emergency! Come down with the flu Seaby and let Naitanui play

I started with Cox, Ottens, Jacobs & Spencer.
R2 Ottens injured.
R5 Jacobs injured. Traded Jacobs for J Meeson.
R6 Ottens reinjured. Spencer injured. Traded Ottens for McIntosh.
R7 J Meeson injured.
R13 Cox injured. Traded Meeson for Naitanui.
R16 Cox reinjured. Will cop a 0 if Naitanui doesn't play.

7 injuries in ruck and used 3 trades. DT has been worse, I started will Hille & Ottens!

I jumped on the M.Clark train too before lockout and traded out Cox for him.


Man what a winning move it was with a Cox like score of 142.

Was tossing up out of Clark, Tippet, Jolley and Kruezer as a replacement for Cox and boy was I glad that I did't pick Tippet! ROFL!

M.Clark leads me to me biggest score ever of 2486 and thats with Pavlich, Bartel and Stevie J all injured and playing with a dounut in the forward line.

Plenty of improvement to come in my team.

I have Jesse White cover but my main rival has just bought Mitch Clark, who I don't want in a GF against Jolly.

Sandi would be best for finals imo.

My new rule for 2010 dream team will be to pick the best non-ruckman they list. i.e. Someone that won't even go into the ruck. My wife has had Petrie all year. Been gold for her.

By picking up a Gardiner, Jamar or White instead, I can upgrade a Walker or Skipworth to O'Keefe. Thoughts?

He was another one I was looking at too, but I already had Tippet and I didn't want to have two Crows players up in FWD. That's the way it goes sometimes though.
