You must go to richmond and secure a wild card or carlton will load Judds contract up and walk him into the PSD. Juddy is now a blue and has been bought with Pratts money. Pratt is a billionair, self made genius, who in the end knows business and will get Judd PSD, Pratt will advise and make this happen, it will enable the blues to be a power house in 2 years. You cannot keep a giant like the blue baggers down for long, especially now Uncle Pratt and Swann are involved.

They will offer you 3,20 and kennedy. 3 is a nothing pick because they cheated and tanked for pick 1, 20 is a gamble and kennedy has not been developed right and is a walking DUD.

The best midfielder in the comp is still at the westcoast - kerr along with the best Ruckman -cox add embley, cuz this should tell you something about why judd is considered so big. Hes great but aint going to single handelly win you a premiership.

Look at the cats - had about 3 stars in the midfield along with about 9 quality player who could also rotate through there....Pratts got a long way to go and now you have signed him up with 7 mill over 5 years you cap will start to come under pressure in future years - and the billionaire cant do anything about the cap.

no he wasnt - he wasnt worth one - he was worth pick 12 & 16.

nathan thomson was pick 10 & 16 i think?

no player (that i can remember) has ever commanded 2 top 5 picks - or even 2 top 10.

and also in regards to the ottens deal - geelong was a no chance in the pre season draft - so a trade had to be made - as he never would have had a chance to move to his club of choice in the preseason (richmond actually had pick 1, and said if a trade couldn't be made - they would re-draft him then).

No player has ever been as good as Judd.

I don't know if 3 + 20 + Kennedy is enough.
I think you need to find a top 15 or 10 pick instead of the pick 20 and there could be a deal.

Just posted this on the Adelaide forum, there was some limited enthusiasm for it, can't see it occurring though:

WCE: Lose Judd, gain picks 3 + 20 + Van Berlo
Carlton: Lose picks 3 + 20 + Gibbs, gain Judd + Hudson
Adelaide: Lose Hudson + Van Berlo, gain Gibbs

The way I see it is Van Berlo > Kennedy, the Crows finally get SA wonderboy Gibbs and something in part for Hudson who's threatening to walk, and Carlton get a ruckman as well as Judd. I'm probably just throwing excrement against the wall here but what do you think?

i hope you do get pick 1 in the deal. carlton scumbag supporters seem to think that Judd prefers them because they are quality not because they are lame enough to hold the earliest picks and judd wants a smooth deal (ie no third clubs involved) and wants your mob to be compensated. Hold firm boys they will crumble.

Carlton definately have the advantage in this trade. If WCE demand too much, Carlton will fold the deal. They will get nothing if Carlton are forced to give up pick 1 + pick x + player x for Judd.

At the end of they day, WCE cannot say "No deal" and continue to play him next year. He will either end up at Carlton for what they beleive is a reasonable deal, or potentially, Judd can get picked up by Richmond in the PSD. What would you rather get in return for him? Pick 3 + Pick x + player x, or nothing.

WCE have nothing to gain by demanding too much.

not trolling, but would it feel like a major loss of face if WCE can't secure pick 1 for the best player in the land? i note many people feel that WC wont be adequately compensated anyway, but is pick 3 + player + 20 satisfactory?
