presumably it's because everything is under the city group banner, so those two standalones can be that way because they cater for other clubs under the banner. i lost track ages ago honestly.
Yeah it's no doubt a case of a head office function working across multiple clubs. But really they should have their costs portioned out to the clubs when the UEFA FFP rules have things around bottom lines it's an unfair advantage not having to wear head office / shared service type costs when all other clubs do have to

i think they already do. i think those services are related to nycfc, yokohama, melbourne city, girona and club torque. it's really a set up that's not like others in football. is it dodgy? probably, somewhere down the line.

Dodgy if they only ever did it to evade FFP. But definitely an unfair advantage since there's all those costs MCFC don't have to incur

A significant portion of City's commercial revenue comes from companies that are owned by the Abu Dhabi Sovereign Wealth Fund - which Sheikh Mansour has control over. Between that and selling image rights to themselves plus offsetting costs to other departments of CFG their financial figures don't look that great all of a sudden. It's all irrelevant though when the owner has a virtual bottomless pit of money to draw from.

He's only got a few games/months to work things out. If a lot of them aren't in his WC plans what's the point? Our starting cm duo played 60 mins

He's going to be playing our first team against Columbia. They'll probably lose and you'll panic again.

This was a chance to get a look at all of his options in competitive football. He played Milligan and Degenek as a CB pairing lol.

Irvine looks great in that advanced role though, but he's definitely next cab off the rank after Rogic/Mooy.

We need to have better striking options than an A-league player who only scored 10 goals in the league.

Our starting striker this morning plays in the J-League.

No panic I know where we are at. Just a shame we won't be at least trying to play good football and losing like last WC. Pretty embarrassing CB pairing this morning but the first choice are hardly rock solid to begin with

Just transferred and hasn't played a game. Clearly picked on his A-league form.

He also played as a winger in the A-League not as a striker.

Your first post seemed pretty panicky about how we'd do against Denmark.
